The room was not swimming pool or SPA ready. No suitable hangers! The bed, not fitted with a king mattress nor foundation. It was okay but not that good.

Our room had dangerous stairs from sleeping area to the bathroom. It had a metal stairway up to a third dark area - I hit my head on it. Dangerous room!

Location was fantastic and made use of the baths which were amazing and very atmospheric. Staff really helpful. I wasn’t sure that breakfast was going to be value for money as it was a buffet but was pleasantly surprised and left very happy. The roof top pool I was surprised to learn was heated but in February I was not brave enough to go in but felt very warm.

There was an annoying humming sound in my Mum's roo, which went away when we told staff but came back during the night. I wish I had known there was an option to get a massage. Information in advance about using the car park nearby would have been helpful.

Disappointing that the only Hotel in this global chain that does not accept American Express is the one in Almeria. Even more curious that I can pay for the room with American Express with Booking.com, but not the local expenses. Cleaner did not respect the ‘do not disturb’ notice on the door of the room in the morning by opening the door at 09:30.

There were just a couple of small things we felt could have been improved We would have liked frosted glass or a privacy screen on the shower as we are not a couple ! Not having a separate bathroom meant that if you used the wash basin during the night it might wake the person sleeping nearest to it. Perhaps there could be a kettle to make the tea and coffee making easier, also some milk would be useful It would have been lovely to have had a bar facility on the roof terrace rather than the vending machine or perhaps a facility to call and order drinks to the terrace ?

Great location - very quiet at night. Good breakfast. Probably best value for money in Central Almeria. And of course the spa is very satisfying, albeit a little expensive.

Room was disorganised, modern but no attention to detail as you would expect, no hooks for dressing gowns, towels , wet spa clothes . no hooks in shower cubicle The bed was big but not comfortable as only topper, no mattress, kettle was rusty, bidet not working

Although the breakfast was good the placement of the tables meant it was very cold to sit and eat. Perhaps the layout could be rethought for winter guests. Obviously this would not be a problem in the warmer months. No kettle in room for tea making. I did acquire one from a member of staff. The room was pretty clean apart from behind the dressing table area where it was very dirty. I only noticed this as I had to pull out the table to plug in the kettle.

Room lovely, location great, staff we met very pleasant. Air conditioning heating worked very well. Shower excellent. Good quality shampoo etc supplied. Breakfast had a very good selection of everything you could wish for.

We are frequent visitors. Inevitability there is no sugar and/or milk with the coffee machine. Last visit the TV was not working on arrival. On a previous visit the safe was not working. It seems that no one checks the rooms to make sure everything is in order after they have been cleaned.

The fact that the open air roof top pool was free and available all day. More than that, the staff were wonderful. One of us had a birthday this week and so was given a free visit to the spa. (You have to be quick to book a space as it’s incredibly popular). Wonderful quirky rooms were an added bonus. Wonderful views from our room too. I seldom do hotel reviews but this one needed sharing.

Avoid room 106 !….. despite booking well in advance we were allocated a room that was obviously not for general occupancy ((the hotel was fully booked) the main issue was a missing door on the toilet cubicle which the reception staff declared no knowledge of blaming housekeeping for removing it without informing them 🤥!!! TBF they moved us to a new room the next day (107) and offered a free Thermal Bath session which was very enjoyable……despite this we were very disappointed in the hotel’s decision to allocate a sub standard room knowing that it did not meet their basic standards. We did wonder if it was because we had booked through Booking.com and were not Spanish citizens??

The location is idealy situated for exploring this wonderful city…….breakfast was an excellent buffet on the roof terrace with great fantastic views over the Alcazaba fortress The Thermal Baths were so impressive and not to be missed

- The air conditioner didn't work at all, and they couldn't fix it. It was difficult to sleep and stay in the room due to the heat. - The toilet doors might as well be considered non-existent. Huge gaps about two fingers wide. - The toilet door wouldn't stay closed and couldn't be locked. It was dangerous to stumble upon it at night. - The toilet door seems to be falling off based on the bolts.

The only thing that was slightly odd was the lack of privacy in the room - glass shower facing the bed... better for a romantic couple than siblings traveling together.
