no complaints therefore no comments to make.

Comfy and clean and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful. Relaxing stay in the village square opposite a bar operated by the owner of the hotel, good food, great people within the village and hotel. made to feel welcome.

Arrived about 6pm and had to wait outside 30 min in the cold to be let in (hotel wasn't staffed when we arrived and had to phone someone who took ages to come). Strange smell pervaded the room (cleaning fluid?). Pokey bathroom with awkward shower. Toilet clunked when you sat on it. Asked for double, got twin. Was meant to be "superior" but not sure in what way. No breakfast available, even though we'd paid for it. Slept poorly. Pillows not comfy. Off-season and relatively inexpensive, admittedly - but either open and do it properly, or don't open at all.

Accompanying restaurant was excellent: very friendly service and quite good food.

Bed wasn’t made and only had one small towel, had to request it. No shower gel or soap.

Bathroom fittings flimsy - could do with upping the quality of these. Otherwise all lovely.

Nice location, lovely welcome. Honesty bar!

Parking was some distance away though this was because the village is situated on a hillside, which is part of it's character.

Situation in a pretty plaza close to bars and restaurants. Peaceful. Lots of walking nearby.

Had to park 200 metres away and drag luggage through narrow winding passageways, but this was part of the charm of the place.

Staff were very helpful and food and wine at attached restaurant was very good and very reasonable. Very clean.

Our room was in an annexe that was also used for storing beverages. We had strong concerns that front door to the annexe was locked overnight and didn't have a crash bar to facilitate a quick exit from the annexe in the event of a fire. A potential accident waiting to happen. The hotel is only accessible on foot via narrow alleys.

Lovely location in the heart of old part of Canilles de Albaida. Very atmospheric. Good food. Helpful staff.
