Starting to look a little bit tired, the rooms and corridors could do with renovation.

Mar y Sol is one of our favourite hotels and always lives up to our high expectations. The amazing breakfast equals the fabulous central location. We shall return, often.

Sea front location, right on the edge of the old town but with spacious, quite and modern rooms / bathrooms. The reception staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, finding solutions in a way that goes above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shopping strip and town centre. Our room overlooked the square, we had a small balcony so could open the door.

We were travelling with kids and had very comfortable queen size bed and horribly uncomfortable coach in the room to sleep on. It was impossible to sleep on it, because the matress was too thin and it felt as you were sleeping right on the metal construction. Although the food at the breakfast buffet was very deliscious, the breakfast experience was ruined by the organization. Only one coffee machine for the whole breakfast lounge was definitelly not enough (we usually had to wait 10-15 minutes in the line for a coffee). As well as one person for handling the service of breakfast - there was constatly missing sandwiches, orange juice, eggs, because one persone have not enough capacity to refill.

The location is perfect - in the center, just next to the beach. The room is very nice and spacious. Food at the breakfast is deliscious. Everyting according to expectations.

Parking is provided for 15 € a day, not very close to the hotel and not guarded. Recommendation: A big car park situated to the left of the Citadella (La Ciutadella) is for free

In hotel description mentioned " safe deposit box", as part of room facilities . In surprise you have to pay 3 euro per day for the box??????  I clearly understand the management wants to make couple more euro,but doesn't looks nice Never before heard about this idea.

The breakfast place is very busy and not enough stuff,when we arrive some tapas and small sandwiches are finished,but the stuff didn’t put the new one ,I have limited choice ,not very good experience in the breakfast ,always many people and long queue for cafe,just don’t like the breakfast experience.
