PolandFor such a high price I would expect a free bottle of wine and more freedom with breakfast and longer hours of serving it (not limited only to one hour from 9 to 10) and more comfortable seats. I'd prefer to have a coffee instead of tea machine in the room. It is good to know there's no TV, for us not a problem though. And the slide door in the toilet didn't close properly and the shower was not working perfectly. And sad you cannot book the hotel for one night only.
I'd been planning to stay at this unique hotel for a long time before we finally came for our 20th anniversary. How special it is, you can find out from the people crowding in front of it all the time trying to take a picture with the hotel. And having the top part of the hotel for us only was great! Surprisingly, I was astonished with the view at the mountains and loved sipping wine from the PuntaGrande Hotel glasses and looking at the beautiful nature around. I liked the shower immitating waterfall a lot! And the Japanese toilet :-) I appreciate almonds in the room and some drinks in the mini bar. Also a nice choice of travel books in the hall.

United KingdomThe owners, Paula and Davide, are a nice couple but there is a strong sense that they are over running a hotel - they admitted as much - and so there permeates a strong feeling of sadness over the property. A joyful place with no longer a sense of joy. The bar, in its stunning location, and which should have been the beating heart of an “out of this world experience”, was left mostly abandoned and the attitude towards it unkempt and indifferent. I understand they want to move on and I wish them all the luck in the world and just hope that the next souls who take up the challenge can reignite the place with the sense of awe the location deserves and demands

United KingdomThere are 2 things to note: 1. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel is located directly above the sea cliffs and the noise of the waves can be very loud all night 2. The beds are quite small. At 6’3”/191cm my feet hung off the bottom, otherwise v. comfortable.

Ireland1. Incredibly rude owners (it would be worthwhile checking out their responses to negative Google reviews - I received something similar by text). 2. No privacy in the room. The toilet is essentially in the bedroom (large gaps at the bottom and top of the doorframe so that all noises (and worse) pass right into the bedroom). 3. Not soundproofed. We could hear everything from the bar/restaurant in the morning, including a parrot who is chained all day long. 4. Breakfast was dreadful. Everything was direct from a shop - you could see the markings of longline bread which has been warmed. Apparently the chef was not there because of a family emergency. I doubt it. Earlier reviews say that he wasn't there because of Covid. I would imagine that he has left. 5. Arranged a shuttle to the airport in the morning. The owners seemed to forget we were leaving. They were not there (nor was the pre-arranged breakfast ready). Had to phone them - their attitude on arrival was unacceptable in the hospitality industry, and the car was filthy and unprepared for guests. And yet we were still charged for the transfer! 6. Fire-alarm batteries had not been changed so the alert to change batteries went off continually in the night. This is surely something that should be changed on a regular basis to ensure guest safety.
