Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe layout of the hotel was somewhat disjointed. The lobby bathrooms were down a flight of stairs, and the reception was at the back, which was unusual and meant we rarely encountered staff. Our shower leaked and flooded the area around the sink, which was very annoying. Overall, the hotel felt more like a four-star than a five-star. Additionally, we were not allowed access to the spa area without paying extra.

Room was an upgrade and lovely. Great seeing local photography in rooms. Location is fantastic. On the main street for shopping, catching hop-on-hop off, walking distance to all the main sites. Staff also very helpful.

United KingdomThe first room I was given had not been cleaned from the previous guest- quite a shock to arrive to after a long day of travel. Fortunately they moved us to a different room which had been cleaned but tea/coffee not stocked from the previous guest. There was also poor communication as I had booked breakfast and had to give the number of the uncleaned room every morning as no-one had updated the system. My new room wasn't cleaned for 3 days and I was not provided with clean towels. I requested this 4 times from reception, and eventually it was done the night before we left. Our room had 1 coffee cup despite there being 2 of us staying. There were also only 2 coffee pods. I asked for an extra cup and for the coffee pods to be replenished 4 times and this was never done. Rooftop bar also lacked atmosphere and service was poor - there is also no view due to the high walls. I went there one evening for a drink and had reserved a table. I sat there for over 30 minutes but no-one came to serve us so we watched the firework display and left. We stayed during Semana Grande which we expected to be noisy. The hotel didn't tell us there was a large stage set up outside our hotel window which played very loud live music until 5am every night. While this is beyond the control.of the hotel, I do feel they should have informed us and made a reasonable effort to make our stay comfortable. We were not provided with earplugs and these did not seem to be available at the hotel. I had also requested a top floor room and was given the bottom floor - twice. As a result, we barely slept a wink and couldn't wait to leave after our 3 night stay. We paid a lot for our stay and were left very disappointed. The hotel is very nicely decorated but unfortunately that's where it ends. We experienced consistently poor service and no attention to detail whatsoever. This is definitely not a 5* hotel.
Hotel was beautifully designed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were provided with free guggenheim tickets, which saved us money and meant we didn't have to queue. Breakfast was tasty. The buffet was well stocked, and there were good options for me as a gluten free vegetarian.

United StatesThe details are off. The rooms are beautiful, but we had a lot of water issues in the bathroom.
This place could be 10/10, it's not. The rooms are beautiful, but all the details are missing. The water runs out of the shower flooding the whole bathroom. The elevator broke the first night and there was a loud alarm going off from 2:00 to 4:00 in the morning.

United KingdomGenerally the hotel raises your expectations with the quality of the decor, the rooms and amenities but then the service is quite poor by comparison. Eg the room was cleaned when I got back late, but there was a great puddle of water from the cleaning all over the bathroom floor (it was a semi wet room) meaning you had no choice but to get your feet wet every time you went in there. Likewise breakfast was just complete chaos - one poor employee expected to greet, clear and prepare tables, seat people, take orders and wait on 20 tables all at once meant a 20 minute wait to be seated and giving up on ordering anything. Not the employee’s fault, but it was pretty poor. These are details, but for a hotel which seems to aim high (and charges accordingly in a fairly inexpensive city) they’re not great ones to get wrong.
The hotel is tastefully decorated, quite classy and in a very convenient area of town. Would recommend staying that side of the river as it’s much nicer than the old town. One thing is that I wouldn’t stay here during the festival again as it was very loud outside till very late indeed (the party goes on till 4-5am) - this is clearly not the hotel’s fault however and I presume no such issue outside a couple of weeks in August. The room was comfortable, large, nicely done out and I appreciated a free upgrade. The rooftop terrace was very nice too. I appreciated being able to leave my bag on the last day.

SloveniaSadly the room was not clean. Very dusty, there was always something missing, either toilet paper, coffee pods, our room phone was not working. Air conditioning got broken and then fixed again... however these things really pile up into serious annoyance.
The reception and restaurant staff were lovely, very helpful, polite and just lovely people. The location is ok, but would have preferred the area around the Guggenheim more, its is nicer.

Netherlands- We asked for an early check and, while not guaranteed, were still a bit disappointed that other guests could check in early and we couldn’t (we overheard their conversation); - we were asked to pay upfront, something we haven’t experienced before and which felt unwelcoming (they already had our credit card information); - at check the hotel mentioned that coffee and everything on the desk above the minibar was complementary. Once in the room we discovered this was wine, chips, etc. There was no pricelist for the minibar so we called reception asking for it. They brought the pricelist and the wine on the desk was on the list but the Pringles weren’t, so we gave our daughter the Pringles she wanted. When we mentioned this to the receptionist later on, he immediately asked for our room number. After we gave it, he entered it into the PC and said “thank you”. As we suspected, the Pringles were added to our bill; - We had one of the more expensive rooms on the 6th floor that happened to be right underneath the restaurant/bar/breakfast area, so we heard loud scratching noises from chairs until 00:30 hours en from 07:00 hours. Not acceptable for a room that costed almost 400,- euro’s per night!; - the bathroom could have been cleaned better, as the caulk was rather dirty and a plinth was loose. There were also two instead of three towels (we were with three).
- the location is really good, with pinxtos bars and a main shopping street around the corner and the Guggenheim at 15 minutes walk; - the rooms have a nice decoration in hotel chique style. Some may find the interior to dark, nut we liked it; - the breakfast was very good, with the added possibility to order omelets, etc.; - this was the first Spanish hotel we stayed in that actually had English speaking (news) channels on TV.

PolandI wouldn’t give Radisson hotel 5*, but maybe 3,5* or 4* It’s overpriced and a lot needs to be improved. Service on the breakfast was not great, the breakfast itself was very basic, nothing special, we had the same breakfast in 3* hotel on the way back from holidays and excellent in the previous hotel 4* in San Sebastián. Breakfast a la carte or coffee from coffee machine, not automatic actually doesn’t exist, not all guests were treated the same way which should not happened in this kind of hotel chain. We ordered once 2 meals from a la carte breakfast, portions were very little and toast was not tasty so we left it. Corridors needs some refreshments and stuff needs proper training, not only during breakfast time when it’s just too late. The closest parking it’s around 8 min walking and the hotel is situated on the busy road.
The room was spacious, reception was friendly and helpful.

United KingdomOn arrival no towels in our room, we asked for towels and when they arrived they were damp. We asked for dry towels and we were told well they have been washed. We got replacement towels which were better but still a bit damp. The downside of being on the 6th floor was that we were under the restaurant and the noise of people dragging their chairs disturbed us.
We got an upgrade on arrival which was great, as was the location. The room was very nice, on the 6th floor with great views over the city.

They cleaned it only on the second day of our stay and didn’t refill at all Water kept flowing out of the shower onto the floor, the floor was always wet
