The walls are extremely thin and I could hear noise in the corridor and from other rooms.

Compact but comfortable, and a perfectly nice place for a short stay. It is also close to the train station, and very easy to access the best sights.

Worst thing - our room (#216) was in back, down a long dark corridor, facing an alleyway, right beside the kitchen, with a huge streetlight shining directly into our room. This being May, the air conditioning was not on, and room too stuffy to sleep without air from open window. So - light into our room all night and lots of noise from the kitchen and alleyway - in fact, every loud conversation in the kitchen was audible. ...altogether not a good two nights.

there was nothing we particularly liked about this hotel...

Parking lot is very hard to drive by since we need to go through very narrow streets. Only small cars will fit. If you have a big car it's better to park out of the walled town. Mark Bridge San Martin in GPS and you will have a free parking spot very close to town. You can park near the hotel to checkin and luggage drop down before going to the parking lot.

Location is excellent. Close enough to the village center, we walked around everywhere. Close to all restaurants and monuments we wanted to visit. Hotel is comfortable, good beds and family room size was very good as well.

The hotel is very nice, however, there is no parking so you have to find parking in your own in surrounding streets what is very difficult. Our room had windows from the courtyard which was ok, but on night time there were people partying and yelling and I couldn’t sleep at all, nor were my children.

Room had only one electrical point, so any devices on a short cable had to be placed on a chair beneath the desk. Regarding the staff, I'm not certain whether they spoke any English or if I was just overreaching by attempting to communicate in my limited Spanish, but it's possible that monoglot English-speakers might struggle.

Excellent location, on the main street into the centre of the old town, but not at the top of the hill. Room was clean and had good facilities in general. Wifi was good, and a bar/restaurant is available.

I had a very nice room with a view on the Puerta del Sol. However, this also meant that in the morning you could hear some of the buses driving on the street. It is not that loud but for some rooms the windows might need much more protection.

The location of the hotel is great, just a few minutes from the old town. The staff is very helpful and rooms are very clean and authentic. Wifi is working without problems. In the hotel is a small bar where guest (and others) can get different sizes of breakfast (for examle one desayuno express - cafe con leche or tea with tostadas for 2 Euro only).

Better instructions from front of desk to housekeeping: we reported the lack of bath toilets on our second day but these failed to turn up until the third day, making it a challenge to dry oneself with a small hand towel!!. Also lack of sound insulation between walls and floors make me glad I don't understand Spanish that well !!

Toledo is tricky for booking [BOOK EARLY!] b/c I made a mistake booking Sun/Mon instead of Sat/Sun, I had to book last minute for this hotel and it was 3x the price of the other - higher rated - hotel in old town. Not hotel's fault, but worth being aware of. The rooms could use a little TLC, but otherwise as expected - great stay overall.

Difficult to off-load luggage as there is no stopping place outside the hotel. We had to pull on to the pavement but this still held up traffic and was unpopular with pedestrians. The off-site parking is about 500 m from the hotel up a steep hill. The hotel is a long way from the main attraction of Toledo and getting to these involves a steep hill.

Cafe is actually a public bar and the staff there were rushed off their feet. The rooms were incredibly basic and very dated with grey walls and green covers. gah. There was only hot air on AC, so following a day of 23degC the room was incredibly hot so had to open the windows at night... as this was a Saturday night, the noise from the street was incredible (buses, motorbikes, drunk people screaming at 6am). Therefore, ended up lying on hard bed sweating all night. great! No coffee facilities; no fridge; terrible shampoo and shower gel; no breakfast included. Hotel parking great as it's underneath the building.. but... unless you know your way around Toledo and have a small car you will have problems gaining access, its back street one way system scenario and very narrow. I get the MX5 through OK so check your vehicle width against that. If not there is alternative parking but a bit further away up the hill If your not in a car? No fault found 👍

Great location to drive to (not withstanding the possible parking issue) also reasonably close to the old town centre, short walk up the hill... The cafe attached to the hotel serves a pleasant choice of breakfast fare and also doubles up as a craft ale bar .. nice

Rooms are small and not very comfy as little space to move about. No litter bin in the bedroom only in en-suite. En-suite needs a make-over. Shower over bath not height adjustable and shower door too narrow - water gets on the floor. Door and building show 3 star property - definitely not that! Disappointed with inclusive breakfast, cooked food was very greasy and waitress would not provide coffee with hot milk despite the fact that we had seen her do that for other guests. Insisted we use the machine. These were our personal experiences.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Bedroom looked freshly painted and was clean. Reception area is welcoming.

They did not have big enough beds to accommodate infants (not even baby crib). So the sleep was not comfortable at all.

Reception and restaurant staff were very nice.

The Hotel parking! not the easiest place to find or get to if you have anything bigger than a small car. There is alternative concession parking available but one wing mirror and a scratched passenger door really took the edge of our arrival experience . Parking within Toledo is major car parks or forget it

It is good Spanish rated hotel and in a good location. Fair hill to climb for the center of Toledo but there ways around it however the info was not put out there such as escalators.
