This is such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in the middle of the Camino Ingles. It is the most luxurious place on the trail with such beautiful history. The owner was so hospitable and helpful to us. Each room has its own unique charm.

I did not like that I didn't come early. We should've arrived earlier to enjoy the entire grounds and gorgeous corners. Every place was a photo shoot. I even will consider coming back here for my daughter's wedding.

    Location, friendliness of staff.

We had an expectation of good local food. We were the only people in the restaurant on the first night and the menu offered was very disappointing. My wife had cheese and ham as a starter for 24 euros, and I had some olives, crisps and a tin of mussels for 10.50 euros as a starter. There were only 2 main courses offered, a Chicken Caesar salad or a tuna nachos. We were so disappointed we cancelled the second nights booking. A hint to the owners would be in this situation they should provide a menu in advance so we could have preordered something better, or told us it would be a limited menu. We stayed elsewhere on this trip and were the only 2 dining but were provided with a wide menu choice. The breakfast was continental only, with no choice of components, and now costs 15 euros per person. It is OK but we have had much better offerings elsewhere for this price. It was 10 euros when we booked, which means 15 euros is quite a price hike.

Beautiful and historical. Excellent food. Comfortable bed. Kind people who made me feel like a very special guest. Maria was excellent at communicating throughout- she organized the taxi to get me to and from my hiking location on the Camino. Arthur shared his favorite wine and food recommendations. I tried new wines, both red and white, and had the most amazing dinner. The dessert was spectacular- with honestly, the best coffee I've had in a very long time. It was a very big treat in the middle of my Camino Ingles. Highly recommend.

    Nothing. It was perfecto.

Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Interior design of the hotel blends the old and the new. Food was excellent. Fresh, simple delicious !

Quite a ling way from the Camino Ingles which we were walkung at the time. But they do offer pick up and drop off if needed. On the more expensive end of our budget.

wonderful resting place for pilgrims within a medium hike/cab ride from the route. The hostess went out of her way to arrange a taxi from our stopping point on the route. Facilities and reception staff were truly warm and wonderful. The steward’s attention and service were exceptional. Dinner was exceptional. Breakfast was more than satisfactory. Vespers at the church was sadly not available.

Attractive former monastery. The room was a good size and had a bath although there was no hot water when we arrived as the engineer had failed to turn it back on after servicing the boiler.

The hotel is a 45 minute walk along a busy road from the Camino Ingles at the church in Cos. The hotel can arrange a taxi pickup which would be advisable. Our sleep was disrupted by people checking into the room next to ours at 11pm (sounds of conversation and footsteps were easily heard)- this was particularly annoying as only one other room seemed to be occupied that night out of a total of 11 rooms

Location, facilities, staff can't do too much for you. Words don't do it justice. Stayed here whilst doing Camino Ingles. A big thank you to Maria for organising a taxi pickup from the route.

    Absolutely nothing.

The host was wonderful, caring and accommodating. Dinner and breakfast was very tasty. Despite being a bit of our route on the Camino, this was well communicated and they offer a Taxi pick up service from a very easy location in two towns en-route of the Camino. I would very gladly recommend this fine establishment to any and all!

There was nothing not to like!

Our overnight stay here was an absolute highlight of our Camino Ingles. The communication from Maria was so helpful including booking the taxi to pick us up from the Meson Museo Xente no Camino, as the accommodation is 3km off the Camino. The Rectoral de Cines is a stunning historic building, set in beautiful grounds, decorated with a wonderful art collection and the rooms are beautifully fitted out. Maria is a fabulous hostess, making us feel very welcome and looking after us so well as we enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. We highly recommend the Rectoral de Cines.

This is an amazing property! We treated ourselves to a night here while walking the Camino Inglés. Every detail was perfect, the building is gorgeous and the room was so comfortable. Maria took such kind care in making sure all of our needs were met. We enjoyed both a lovely dinner and breakfast. To reach the quiet country setting of the hotel, you can prearrange and call to be picked up in Presedo. This was one of our most memorable and enjoyable nights!
