Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe toilet door in our room was glass and offered little privacy and no sound proofing. Listening to your partner on the toilet does little to enhance a romantic stay. I felt I had to go on the balcony if my wife was using the toilet.
Amazing location on the edge of the cliff with beautiful garden and bar. Good breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly. A lot of the other hotels in Ronda were on busy streets and could be noisy but the rooms with a mountain view here are very peaceful. I would definitely recommend and return here if ever back in Ronda.

This is a traditional hotel in the best way possible. The location is ideal and the views are breathtaking. The restaurant does tasting menus to die for and the staff are first rate. Breakfast was first rate! The hotel is large and comfortable with a great cafeteria and super helpful reception staff. I loved this place! A lot!

This is our 4th visit to this wonderful hotel. We always bring our dog & it is very pet friendly. The staff are so welcoming & happy, & the service provided is excellent. The large & immaculately clean bedroom we had was with a balcony over looking the valley - beautiful . Parking on site. We will always come back to this hotel.

Very well located with great views from the terrace and an easy walk into Ronda. We were upgraded on arrival and enjoyed the spa facilities during our stay. Comfortable and spacious room & hotel but the team, who were without exception friendly and helpful, made for a memorable stay.

Hong KongVery nice old building with newly renovated rooms. Spacious room with nice balcony. 7-8 mins walk to the bullfight arena and 10 mins walk to the new bridge connecting the old town. It locates on the cliff height where you can see beautiful sunset and the whole valley. And the breakfast is well selected.

United KingdomAlthough the hotel was almost empty, we were put on the forth floor right next to another occupied room. This couple were noisy and inconsiderate anyway but the sound transference, particularly between the bathrooms, was unpleasant. I would expect a bit of noise in high season but please don't put people next door to each other when you don't have to.
We booked this hotel because they accept pets - not many places do. Were were traveling with our small dog. the location of the hotel was brilliant - a minute from the big, sandy beach and a very easy drive to Santander for the Ferry. The staff were also very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

NetherlandsPerhaps this place is known as family friendly, but for us the number of babies/small children and associated noise was unpleasant a few times.
Great location, epic views, friendly staff and very good restaurant. It was too cold to stay outside but the terrace looked stunning, and so did the pool. Spa area is nice and not too busy as based on limited reservations. Good starting point to explore the mountains, hiking etc.

GreeceStaff were very helpful and professional. We arrived early and they dealt with our luggage whilst we had a drink on the terrace and then informed us as soon as our room was ready. The view from the terrace is amazing, especially for sunset. It is a nice peaceful environment but only 10 minutes walk into the centre of Ronda.

PolandWe received an upgrade to junior suit and had a samll living room with sofa. All the rooms had terraces with beautiful views across the valley. Bed was large and comfortable and the mini bar was well stocked and not too pricey. Spa was small but had jucuzzi pool, sauna and sun beds with beautiful views. The hotel had its own parking and was a short walk from the town centre.
