Pleasantly surprised by this 3 Star Hotel. Rooms and bathroom were spacious and immaculately clean. Bed very comfortable. Central to the Old City and on the Portuguese Camino Route. Very good, reasonably priced food in the restaurant.

Breakfast can be improved. Expensive for what offered. There is nice cafeterias nearby (for instance the Panaderia Acuna)

Excellent location in Pontevedra, a perfect spot to visit Galicia (Pontevedra itself, Costa de Muerte; Rias Bajas; Vigo; Santiago de Compostela, all within less than an hour by car). Comfy and very clean room. Professional staff.

    Nothing, it was excellent

As someone had already written, it is a nice surprise, the pictures on Booking.com do not do it justice, it is much nicer in reality. Perfectly located, super clean, stylish, with extremely nice staff, the garage is conveniently next door.

This is one of those hotels that one is not expecting much and in the end the expectations were exceeded. The hotel was recently renovated and the job was well done. We got a room on the 8th floor, and we were impressed: the room was huge with a small hall separating the bathroom and the room. Sice we had a few items of baggage, this hall proved very convenient. The bathroom big and good quality with a window and a very good shower. The bedroom nice and pleasant, comfortable bed (not too soft), big closet, balcony and lots of light. The front desk staff was excellent, friendly and efficient. The hotel, from the lobby to the rooms was spotless. There is a garage (own by the hotel) just across the street, big and easy to park. They let me keep the car there until 15h00 without any fuss :) The location is absolutely perfect to visit the surprisingly pretty and full of life Pontevedra. Right in the center next to all the shops and restaurants (had an excellent dinner at Viñoteca Bagos - 300 meters from the hotel). An excellent service resulted in an excellent stay. Definitely recommended.

Earplugs needed - but isn't that always the case in a busy hotel?

Fantastic showers. Brilliant accessibility (although the wheelchair lift at the front door could be a little unreliable). Loved the motion sensitive corridor lighting. Helpful staff. Lovely toiletries, and helpful to have a hairdryer in the bathroom. Non self-closing room door made it easy to get in and out on mobility scooter. Very near to old town.

The room was really comfy and the bathroom had a seat in the shower so you could sit and have a nice and relaxing shower after a long day of visiting the city. The hotel is located in the very centre of the city and in walking distance of the major spots. The staff was really helpful and kind and both the check-in and check-out processes were really easy. The room had air conditioned, a TV, a mini-bar, a desk and free Wi-Fi, it also had a small balcony. The room had not only blinds but also shutters so you could have a nap at the evening in perfect darkness.

I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included in the price of our two room booking for four nights. I know it is a very English thing, but there were also no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room. However, the local bakeries are excellent for pastries and croissants and coffee

It lacked a bit of atmosphere, but this wasn't a busy time when we visited. On Saturday night some of the restaurants were very quiet. We spent one day and night in Pontevedra and that was enough to see the main town.

On two occasions we were treated so incredibly rudely by a man working in the bar/cafe that we finally complained to management. His behaviour was appalling and completely uncalled for. However, as stated earlier, overall the staff in this hotel were very professional and helpful so we can only think that this particular employee didn't like dealing with tourists (which, let's face it, can probably be a bit challenging at times).

Excellent location, very close to the old part of town. Good size rooms. Very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful * (see section on what we didn't like).

The only downside to this place was the check-in staff: not spectacularly helpful or friendly. Having said that, though, they weren't obstructive, so it was ultimately OK.

Difficult car access due to being in pedestrian area. Room noisy to distraction. There were maisonry works every day arrangements with owner didn't work very well. (Long story) Garage on other side of street and long time for staff to open doors in and out. Breakfast very expensive for the simple continental breakfast they offered. We went to near by cafes for less than half the price. No help with luggage at arrival: no porter at the time, no cart and the small lift at main entry didn't work at our arrival. Main stairway carpet full of big spots which gave bad impression.

It is located on a very busy corner 1.5 blocks from the old section. The room was noisy and didn't have AC. To have the windows open was unbearable because of the noise from the street, cars, trucks, motorcycles and drunk people. Buyer beware.

We had a room on the corner with a sitting room which was nice. It allowed for cross ventilation, but also came with more noise from the street. If you're looking for a nice vacation don't go to Pontevedra.
