We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomAs read in other reviews, the room decor was in much need of updating and refreshing.
The reception and housekeeping staff were very friendly helpful and efficient. There was a good range of dishes at breakfast and dinner. The Esmeralda is very well placed, close to the beach and other amenities. My room was generously sized, with a comfortable bed, plenty of storage space and a large balcony with a great view. Although the hotel was busy, it was quiet at night.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel - if you are lucky there is free parking outside of the hotel and not far to go to the beach and beautiful walks along the sea front - it was our wedding anniversary so they upgraded us to a bigger room which was very nice -a lovely big balcony - provided us with a kettle for our room when we enquired about it - but they prefer you to go to the bar obviously to get your tea/ coffee- had a great stay - just love the lift system they have.

SpainAlthough the rooms a good size the furniture is tired old etc. Bathroom an ok size but a lot of the rails loose. Balcony great size but ceiling needs cleaned.
The area is very good. Great walk to harbour then great walk round to Calpe town.
