Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandA bench area (or a park) and some bars are located very close to the hotel, where people gather and chat until late at night, even until 2-3 AM! Soundproofing is not guaranteed, as I could still hear people yelling loudly from nearby alleys even with the windows tightly shut.
The best price we could find during the designated date in Barcelona.

HungaryOur room faced the street where there is a bar with people yelling all night long. Literally. This is not for all the rooms though. Room temperature cannot be set individually, it was cold in the room for my wife.
Very clean, OK breakfast, newly built.

Italythe only thing i didn’t like it’s the fact that at night from our window we could witness people using the streets as bathrooms basically… it was disgusting…but i know it’s not a problem that the hotel can resolve … barcelona it’s a really crowded city so you can find people acting rudely. Also we needed to use that same street to come back from the Rambla to the hotel if we wanted to go on foot and seeing people pissing around wasn’t really fascinating (as u can imagine)… the area at the back of the hotel didn’t make me feel safe in general . I know the people in the hotel cannot resolve this,it’s just to let people know to avoid maybe that street .
It’s the second time i stay in this property,i really like the fact that the hotel is located near to the underground station of Sant Antoni,so you can basically go everywhere because Barcelona it’s really good connected. The staff is really kind, and the rooms are really good, they are big compared to other hotels i’ve stayed in europe. Also the prices are pretty good and the breakfast had really good options.

United KingdomThe hotel seemed to have a lot of school/youth groups staying, so could be quite noisy.
The hotel offers excellent value for money. We had no issues with cleanliness and the location is useful to get to other places

RomaniaThe only minus was a lingering smell of perfume in the room, which we could diminish by keeping the window open.
The hotel is very well located, 3 minutes away from the San Antoni metro station and close to the Mercat de San Antoni. Often noisy at night, because there are two terraces very close to the hotel, one that is opened until late at night where there are live concerts and another one with a bar and a tapas restaurant. The room is very clean. The mattresses are super comfortable, as are the pillows. Continental breakfast, a bit poor in vegetables, but the dishes are fresh and sufficient, at least for our taste. All rooms have twin beds and only few have a balcony.

NorwayRooms are so close to each other and there is no noise insulation, you can wake up in the middle of the night at the voice of your neighbors laughing / closing the door …. this is not comfy
Breakfast is just great! It has the basics, scrambled eggs, cheese, turkey, butter and jam, croissant, pain au chocolate, toast, cornflakes and milk, coffee machine … and the food is FRESH. Keep it up!

United KingdomNo drinks facilities either in room or reception / dining area. Even a kilner of drinking water would have been appreciated just to grab a drink on return to hotel. The back (quickest) roads immediately from the hotel towards La Rambla do feel a bit dodgy but you can avoid these by sticking to main roads. Having said that, you quickly get to the busy, main tourist area so not a big issue. We unfortunately coincided with a school group which was a bit noisy, particularly when we were trying to buy into the Spanish siesta tradition!!
Nice, modern, clean hotel with a good breakfast. Short walk from airport bus stops which makes for easy transfers (and aerobus is great for transfers) and ten mins to la Rambla. Really comfy beds and pillows.

The hotel is in a great location. You can reach most of the main attractions by walking. In addition there is a metro station 3 mins walking from the hotel. The room was a little bit small but it was good enough for me. The breakfast was good.

NorwayRooms are super wet and very dirty, even after everyday cleaning, it was the same dusty mess on the floor. Breakfast was the same all the time. Wanted to have at least some changes…
The location is actually good, very close to everything, but the hood was horrible. Very “underground”, a lot of dust, drunk and high crazy people. We could get our room 1h earlier than the time of check in

United KingdomThe area that the hotel was in was not the best - quite a lot of people hanging around outside smoking and drinking at all hours, the road was being dug up all around, and there was a bar on the corner so it was very loud at the weekend with people screaming at all hours of the morning so if you’re a light sleeper this may be an issue if you are facing the road. None of this the hotel can help though, and while inside the hotel we felt very secure. Just be aware of your surroundings when coming and going. The breakfast was a bit poor as it was cold whenever we went. It also was dry and looked like had been sat there for a while. The selection was fine and if it was served warmer we probably would have ate there more often but we mostly skipped it.
The hotel itself was very clean. The room was modern and comfortable. The shower was good. There is a safe and hairdryer already in the room and you can borrow an iron from reception. We arrived early and the reception staff kindly let us check in to our room early which was much appreciated. The hotel is very close to a metro station and within walking distance to a lot of sights which is very handy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and booked us a taxi on the way home. The price is very good when considering that the hotel is in the centre of the city (10 mins walk to Las Ramblas etc). Overall I would recommend if you’re looking for something affordable and central, within very close distance to the sights of the city.

Czech RepublicThe neighbourhood was a bit loud and sketchy in the evening, but we had not come into any troubles.
Hotel is located in the centre, walking distance to basically all the main sights and public transport. Very nice and clean room including bathroom. Staff speaks English without troubles and is helpful with additional requirements. When making the reservation, an accessible bathroom was promised to me and we got it without having to remind anyone. Breakfasts were ok, but I would indeed appreciate more variety thoughout the week, because the meals are the same everyday.

IrelandThe only con that I should tell is that the room temperature tend to drop during the night even we didn’t touch the panel. Maybe we should have told the reception rather than trying to keep us warm at night.
The room was perfectly clean, with no stain and very comfortable. Our room had a balcony which we could also have a nice street view. The bed was comfy and nice too! Breakfast was fairly in variety, although the it started to become cold after 10pm. The hotel made us a lunchbox for us, too as we had to check out before breakfast time. Very comfortable and value for money!
