Very good location in the centre of Gran Canaria. Good starting point for walking tours in all directions. Nice little hotel with a restaurant. Delicious breakfast and a good variety of meals for dinner. Very friendly staff.

Our room technically didn't have a window. It consisted of two rooms and the window was in the second part, quite far away from the beds. That's why there wasn't enough fresh air. The recepcion works from 12.00 to 19.00 but we never saw anyone there, which made the place quite impersonal.

Great location for hiking, traditional rural style of the hotel. It has thick walls so you don't hear the neighbours. Tea and coffee facilities in the lounge. French restaurant for dinners, very good breakfast.

Breakfast could have been better, but was still good! (Only real minor criticism is to put more out buffet-style eg bread and cake etc so people can have more or less without having to ask/waste if they had too much, plus it's less work for the staff) - but service was great as was freshly prepared/served food

This is a lovely little hotel in absolutely prime location, esp for hiking tours. Our room was small but comfy. One could also choose to have dinner here, which was excellent. The French cook did a miraculous job of cooking 3 course meals and serving everyone on her own.

Breakfast was a bunch of nothing besides the scrambled eggs, the coffee offered in the thermos was almost at room temperature.

Amazing breakfast at Tajinaste. Authentic rustical feel The pool is small but pleasant in hot days. Good central location to explore central mountains of the island.

The pool was cleaned around 11am which was a bit too late in my opinion, as customers need to wait until they can go swimming.

The properties charm is that it’s rural & rustic but this does mean it’s a bit old so the walls are quite thin & the pipes are a bit noisy but don’t let that put you off, you will sleep well after a day of hiking.

The location is amazing. You can watch the stunning sun set from around the corner of the hotel. Perfect spot to start hikes after a lovely filling breakfast. Bus stops right outside to take you else where.
