Beautiful quiet location, lovely views, big and bright rooms, great food, friendly staff, only a few mins detour from motorway but really quiet, parking in shade.

Not a particularly warm welcome as one would normally expect. Asked for a twin room, actually got three single beds all close together only possible to get out of bed at one end ! We had to move some furniture plus two beds to make a little gap so either of us could ,if necessary, get out of bed in middle of night. Dinner (which was for a special occassion) disappointing, our lamb shoulders were quite tough.

Breakfast was excellent, everything cooked fresh. Wide choice, Plenty of free parking. Lovely views. Gardens well looked after. Very helpful , pleasant and "jolly" restaurant waiter

Truly delightful and spacious rural accommodation, well run and good value for money. Breakfast is not buffet, but from a menu which is very well executed. There appear to be only twelve rooms, with most of the business from weddings and the like. A good experience. We returned on the way back, and appreciated it even more, not least the magnificent food in the cafeteria (Didn't try the restaurant.) A fabulous venue for a wedding or similar celebration, but wonderful as a treat for an overnight stay.

I didn't get his name, but the fellow who greeted us at the front desk, and later assisted us in the restaurant with our ordering, was very nice and helpful. He even introduced us to complimentary Pedro Jiminez dessert wine which was a pleasant surprise

Very loud every time someone went into the next room as closing the doors is very loud, lots of ants running around in the room. Very slow service in the restaurant, very quick in the cafeteria.

Nice large room and bathroom, very good breakfast and the cafeteria much better value than the restaurant

No tea and coffee facilities in the room, no aircon and the beds a little hard. Not the best menu for vegatarians.

The building was lovely, the staff even better and they couldn't do enough for us. They specialise in weddings and one took place during our stay which added to the feeling of being in rural Spain.

Rooms did not have air conditioning which would be problem in summer months. My visit was Autumn and only 4 days therefore not a problem.

Staff were excellent very polite and happy to be of service. Rooms were good size and the rustic decor was appealing.

The pool is great, has a poolside bar facility and plenty of shady space too. Having a fridge in the room was great too - somewhere to keep bottles of water cold, great views, friendly staff and very easy access to the centre of Loja and A92 - which is great for easy access to Malaga (50mins) Rio Frio (10 mins) and Granada (30 mins)

Only niggle was the noisy bed, hard but we did not mind that, just creaked and groaned when turning over.

Charming , helpful staff, made us very comfortable. Lovely pool, also a pool bar. Nice big room, huge bed, big spa bath, nice balcony. Food was lovely, out on a terrace, very reasonable, mojitos could not ask for more. Breakfast great, lots of choice, freshly made. Eaten outside on the bar terrace. Beautiful gardens. Lovely location

Closing doors quietly was difficult and in the case of some of our fellow guests - impossible!

The hotel is set in lovely gardens with lots of car parking in a very quiet area. The bedroom was very pretty with views of the garden. Rooms with a balcony were available but we only stayed one night. The bathroom was delightful.

We stayed here two years ago, and rebooked by accident, since I didn't remember the name of the hotel. Both stays have been excellent, the staff is most obliging, the food is great - a lot of choice between the cafeteria, restaurant next door to the hotel and the hotel's restaurant. Easy access to Granada and Antequera and the hiking routes in the area

Instant favourite. Traveling by bike, so it took a little extra effort to find the hotel (located some four kms from the city centre of Loja) in total darkness and having already cycled more than 130 kms that day, but it was absolutely worth it. I hope I'll visit this hotel some day again. Delicious dinner, lovely breakfast. Stylish buiding, friendly staff.

We stood reception for quite a while before the man, who was supposed to be helping us ,eventually came over. He clearly saw us enter but ignored us. The lady in the bar when we went for a drink was extremely rude. Ghastly dinner...inedible. A very nice man served breakfast in the morning. Such a shame as we had travelled a lot in Spain and only ever met friendly people. They have an attitude problem that needs to be fixed!!

Great location. Quiet, easily reached from main road. Lovely bedroom.

    None.... I will stay again.

Lovely hotel in rustic setting a few minutes from town. Terrace restaurant was fantastic value for money and gave oven or BBQ as a cooking option. Clean and tidy. For English speakers there is a button on tv to revert the language of a programme back to original language. Restaurant had 3 clients in at 9pm and 100 at 11:30, but that is the Spanish way.
