Bathroom could do with an update. The mini fridge in the room didn't work (not a big deal).

We booked a suite so had a huge room leading to a balcony plus bedroom which was also a good size. Beautiful old building. Lovely scrambled eggs and great coffee for breakfast. Location was excellent.

Breakfast was excellent, staff kind at a 100%. Jose Manuel really treated as family. Room 102 was not that comfortable, need to change the old windows because the traffic noise gets into the room. Room 105 was great, I loved it.

The wifi was poor.

The location was fantastic for exploring the historic centre on foot and we were lucky enough to be able to park right outside throughout our 3 night stay. Our room was very spacious and quiet and we had our own roof terrace which was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful (they recommended the Parada Bar/Restaurant for dinner which was great in terms of location, food, service and value). The breakfast was excellent and the hotel's roof terrace provided fantastic views from the sea to the volcano.

Hard to find anything, maybe parking, which is 5min walk from hotel, but otherwise very good.

Service was excellent, breakfast was really very good, i would recommend to order scrambled eggs from the kitchen, best I have ever had :)

While check-in was, for the most part, ‘remote’, the sweet maid saw that we were able to get in to our room upon (early) arrival. rooms were SPACIOUS and well appointed You can’t GET any closer to the heart of the old town for this price

There were mosquitos and rooms quite dated. Carpets needed replacing.

This is a historical gem and the property is centrally located to view the beautiful area around La Orotava. Jules the manager is very helpful and has a smile while he works and also serves the breakfast which was excellent. Tried to eat in the restaurant in the evening, different staff who failed to serve us after 15 minutes of being seated, left before I starved as the area is very hilly when you explore and was famished.

At the price point nothing.

Historic building at heart of La Orotava which should be a must on a tour of Tenerife. We had a suite which for the price was a pleasant surprise, high ceilings, great big doors and a traditional balcony over the main entrance. Rooms are all placed around the central courtyard which also serves as the restaurant/breakfast room. Take the trouble to climb the stairs to the roof terrace for sun loungers, view of La Orotava, Porto Cruz and the sea beyond, Teide , the sunset. The manager was delightful and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Car parking at entrance -- but we were lucky as there are only three spaces.

We arrived late afternoon and it was a shame that we couldn’t get a drink in the hotel as the restaurant didn’t open until 7.30! Breakfast was disorganised with only one staff member overseeing everything and then another appeared later.

We had a warm welcome from a staff member although he struggled with his English as we did with our Spanish.

The lovely, friendly staff worked incredibly hard to look after all the guests. A warm welcome and great local information provided. A beautiful hotel with so much history and character. Superb breakfast. Wonderful location a short walk from the centre but very quiet. Roof terrace to watch sunsets and stars. Rooms with character and everything you need.

During these hot days, to be honest, I would appreciate any air conditioning

The room was big and airy. Breakfast with good selection of fruits, dairy - including eggs or youghurt , bread, ham or salami, butter, jam, cereals, orange juice, coffee, teas. The location of the hotel is on the same street as local botanical garden as well as very close to the centre.

Honestly, we couldn’t fault it.

The staff were very helpful and genuinely friendly. Our room was enormous and well appointed. The restaurant which is rarely mentioned in reviews is excellent. Parking is possible (but not guaranteed) directly in front of the property. All in all it was incredible value for money.
