First and the most important one is the hygiene.The facility is very old and the room is not cleaned properly. The bathroom has an odor even just after cleaning. The worst thing is the room having misquotes and flyings. They dont have any equipment for dealing with misquotes and flyings. I was told by the staff to buy stuffs in the farmacy myself. Secondly is the noise. They leave the top window open all the time for fresh air so you will be woke up by motorcycles，trush-cleaning trucks and beach-partying. They dont have activity room or space so people will talk late kn the phone，eat and drink in the room.

Location. The sea is just right infront of it. You dont have to walk far for a nice sunrise or sunset

The place is in desperate need of renovation. Reading light wasn’t working, bathroom is quite old and worn out, and the luggage storage room was open and unattended, so didn’t feel I left my suitcase in a safe place, but it was ok and nothing was lost. The rooms have no windows so kind of feels like you’re sleeping in a box, not good if you’re claustrophobic, and the walls are super thin, as I read in some other reviews, but people were polite and quiet during night hours.

location is great and so are the employees. Clean sheets, very simple check in and out. You can buy a -not too sturdy- lock for €3 for your locker during your stay. They have a nice little cafe where you can get a coffee and croissant breakfast for €4 and enjoy it by the sea. The place feels safe and is good value for money, because this is Barcelona at the end of the day, and you can’t find accommodation by the sea for this price. I would stay there again.

The staff were rude at check-out accusing me of checking out too late. I paid for late checkout!! Another 2 staff members came in the room at 10am and woke me up, telling me to leave because I should be checked-out already. I had to argue that I paid to check out late and they finally agreed, once they looked at their paper properly. However, they had already woken me and then proceeded to clean the room and strip all the other beds, playing music, mopping the floors around me and spraying some very strong cleaning products which made it extremely uncomfortale to stay in the room as breathing was not easy. Terrible experience, especially when I pay to stay longer! Absolutely DO NOT pay extra to check-out later. Such a waste of money.

I didn't like the accommodation. The showers were antiquated and difficult to keep clean. In the 8 bed female dormitory where I was the shower water leaked into the washbasin area and left a dangerous slippery lake with wads of people ' s hair. The 6 female dormitory was better but they all need decent washrooms. The rooms were noisy.

I liked the staff very much. They were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too for them. The location was excellent.

Cleanliness of bathrooms

The location is the best you can get for the money you pay. The bedding was clean. You need to have your own towel, slippers and toiletries. They don't offer them. If you want to have breakfast in the hostel you can get a cup of coffee and croissant for 7€. But there are lots of cafes nearby where you have better choice for less money. Important: the entrance to the hostel is hidden inside the cafe. But you can see the sign 'Hostel' on the left of entrance the cafe.

The floors in the shower room and toilet werent very clean. The guy on the desk when I was checking out wasn't friendly at all.

Location was perfect. On arrival the girl at the desk was very friendly. Cafe staff friendly. Very importantly it felt safe for my first solo travel.

Walls are thin as paper and with holes so you can perfectly hear people in other rooms.

The walls of the rooms are very thin and you hear everything from each room. The rooms don't have any windows but if you use just for sleeping is perfect. The huge problem is the reckless guests who don't have a minimum respect into staying in a hostel, by continuously making noise at any hour during the night and the people who snore a lot.

The staff was amazing and the location was perfect. Very nice to work remotely from the bar of the hostel.

Noisy rooms with paper walls, voices and loud coughing from the neighbors until the morning every day, no air conditioner and air conditioning at the weekend, difficult to breathe, very expensive taxes, about 5 euros per night!

The installations (bunkbeds and bathrooms) were extremely basic. The bathroom lights made very loud noises which were bothersome to the people sleeping. My room had large holes in the wall through to the room next door so we could hear all their conversations and alarms, as if we were in thr same room. There is no kitchen, fridge or sink to use. No common area aside from the café/bar.

No windows in some rooms. Poor ventilation means some rooms with more travellers stink! The cleaning staff are particularly rude. If you’re on the bottom bunk, you’re guaranteed to have dirt on your bed from when cleaners clean top bunks. The tourist tax should just be added to the actual cost advertised as it seems deceptive. Basin in 8 bed dorm toilet was leaking which meant the bathroom floor was constantly wet and dirty. Had the most horrible iced coffee from restaurant. Honestly, was scared to eat from there as I wasn’t sure of the hygiene standards in the kitchen.

Location was excellent!!!!!!!!!!! Some staff were amazing but others short and rude. 24 hour reception was handy. Acceptable levels of noise at night.
