The option to do online check in only to arrive & be told you must also queue to check in manually at the desk. It was not a fast check in and there was no welcome refreshment offered during this lengthy process

Staff were attentive, spa & massage services very good, taxis in/out of town easy to get, valet parking, drinks out front very relaxing.

Nothing if being picky breakfast hit food was often like warm.

Everything was wonderful. Such a beautiful hotel renovated sympathetically. Every member of staff was excellent so friendly and efficient. The grounds were like a tropical paradise. Food was excellent too.

No major issues. A few things could be tweaked at breakfast, I found I had long waits for tea on a couple of days, also only half a pot of water which was nowhere near boiling which doesn't make good tea. Bacon was very fatty with little meat , I would expect better for the €30 breakfast charge. No option of poached eggs. Just fried or scrambled but apart from that 9/10 for the rest of the Buffet. Great selection of meats/ cheeses, yogurts etc.

It's a good , generally well run hotel. Staff very helpful.

Poemas restaurant was the best meal of our lives. I really enjoyed the thermal hydrotherapy circuit and our spa treatments. We came to GC specifically to come to the hotel after being inspired by Agatha Christie. Little did we know that she actually stayed at the hotel!! Everything was amazing.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the city. We upgraded to a junior suite to have access to the rooftop pool during the day. Loved the location. Easy access to the beach as well as the Vegueta (old town).

The service was inconsistent. Some members of staff were friendly and helpful, and some were grumpy and uncaring. Also, some language barriers and technology related issues.

Very beautiful old-world hotel in a convenient location. It is lovely inside and outside and full of character. Very nice pool area, excellent spa, and great choice of restaurants and bars. Comfiest beds and best showers ever.

The breakfast room was always crowded and made it difficult to get what you wanted. The staff were helpful but you had to seek them out to get coffee or anything else.

Had a bedroom on the top floor just below the rooftop bar which was fine except for the fact that on 2 evenings of the stay the noise from functions being held on the rooftop was quite pervasive to late into the evening. Lighting controls in the bedroom were quite finicky which made getting up for the bathroom in the middle of the night quite challenging. If there was a night light it wasn't found.

Comprehensive buffet breakfast. Friendly staff but it did take ages to get a coffee refill.
