Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumRooms are super noisy. You can hear every word being said in the hallway and in the room next to you, so bring earbuds if you are a light sleeper! I do absolutely NOT recommend going to their restaurant: we waited for an hour, asked if we could order 4 times, and we were just nog being served. People around us got drinks even though they arrived after us. We ended up walking out after waiting for an hour, and had some food just outside the sanctuary walls (which was very nice!).
Beautiful location, a lot to do: you can walk up to the viewpoint (highly recommend!), visit the church and the botanical gardens. Stunning area.

United KingdomSwimming pool isn’t opened until 15th June… only found out when we arrive reception desk. A bit disappointed as it didn’t state clearly from both booking.com and on their official website. Recommend to double check with the hotel by email in advance.
Very cultural and tranquil, perfect for people who like architecture and countryside. Sitting in the middle of Tramuntana mountain range, it’s very easy to get around to different beautiful villages like Soller and also to the seaside like Port de Pollença and Alcúdia if you have rented a car. Inside you’ll have the Basílica de la Mare de Déu de Lluc, cafe, restaurant, a botanical garden and a very beautiful swimming pool surrounded with trees and mountains, all just within the Santuari. Worth spending a morning or even a day to enjoy the whole area.

DenmarkRestaurant was understaffed which meant that there not always were clean cutlery or glasses to find. The food was also not the tastiest thus we ended up cooking ourselves for the last days of the stay.
The location is great, situated in the mountains. There were several hiking routes starting from Lluc for all levels, even small children.

United KingdomThe food in the restaurant Sa Fonda wasn't very nice, but there are other places to go - and it seems the cheapest option which is helpful for travellers on a budget.
The location is stunning. We went up to the lookout point every evening to watch the sunset and the bats flying around. So many trails for hiking and such a beautiful area. It really was like a retreat. Rooms were good value and it was nice to have breakfast included. The restaurant Ca S'Amitger had amazing baked lamb and goat which were a great way to finish a day's hiking.

United KingdomUnfortunately, we were kept awake most night by goats with loud bells grazing in the courtyard. I'm sure the rooms at the side of the building would be much quieter.
Beautiful place to stay in the mountains and the staff were very friendly

GermanyThe rooms are nothing special and have been around for a while, but they're functional and clean. I tried to see the museum, but it was closed while I was there.
I stayed here while on a bike trip and hadn't actually realized it was a religious sanctuary until I arrived. The church and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. I would highly suggest dinner at the restaurant right outside the entrance to the main part (it looks like a circle kind of). They had absolutely wonderful traditional Mallorcan dishes. I got Frito Mallorquin and Sopas Mallorquin.

United KingdomYes, the service in the restaurant was a bit idiosyncratic - probably down to the system rather than staff inefficiency. Also the coffee dispensers at breakfast are slow - maybe more than two are required in a restaurant of that many covers
Unique accommodation in stunning location high in the Tramuntana mountains. Half board excellent value in February 2024 Simple room consistent with its former use. Clean and cosy with small bath. Good breakfast and three course dinner in lovely dining room. Helpful staff including helpful and sincere greeting at reception.

fabulous place to stay, so much history and atmosphere. I walked here from Soller so was so happy to have a warm bath and comfort. It is not for those expecting luxury, but is a wonderful experience in the wilderness

FranceNot really a criticism, but the restaurant is understaffed, and with young personnel who are very willing to do well, but who lack the experience to deal with a large flow of guests. Their frustration and desperation transmits to the people they are serving.
Very cosy room with heating and comfortable chairs with table for two. Beautiful botanical garden to visit. Reasonably priced half pension and good breakfast buffet. Very welcoming reception.
