Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo WIFI in the lodges. TV very basic and not positioned very well within lodge.
Lodge was a bit basic but right in the middle of the safari park. Excellent value when you consider the ticket prices for entry to the park.

MoroccoMosquito nets are needed to be able to open the windows - less one time use plastic and sorting bins needed to keep with the park commitment on caring for the animals and the planet.
We chose to go for the Zulu Villa to enjoy the most of the stay as it has a great outdoor space. Since the park closes at 6pm, the terrace was the key attraction offering great view on the park. We enjoyed working around after the closing, so peaceful. The activities included were also a hit for both kids and adults (especially the safari). The staff were friendly and helpful. Some comments complained about getting the luggage to the rooms, but we were accompanied by car so installation was smooth.

The lodge we stayed in no 2 in Zulu was amazing, own spa pool outside on terrace which the kids spent all their time in. Overlooking part of the zoo and the hanging rope bridge, so a good view. Not far from lemurs cages so could hear them which was funny as they were always fighting. Great experience, good value for money, 2 days in zoo, safari trip, 1 night in lodge and buffet breakfast at the restaurant all included. Highly recommend for families with young children. Only negative was no kettle provided to make hot drinks in the morning.

Views were amazing, the lodge had everything we needed and was very comfortable. All of the staff were wonderful, friendly and fully explained answers to any questions we had. Lovely to walk through the park when there were just other staying guests there.

United KingdomThe proximity of the lodge to the park - it was too far away. There was no where to buy water up at the lodges / no facilities. No shop, no restaurant close by you had to call a taxi from the park to get back. Not great for someone with young children. The pool was dated, the surrounding area and pool needs a revamp. When we arrived at the pool there were 20+ kids there with only 2 adults to supervise. There were kids running around being extremely naughty. I had to tell some off as they were bullying another child, the lifeguard wasn't bothered and was on his phone pretty much the whole time. There were too many children for 2 adults to look after. It wasn't safe. The food in the restaurant wasn't great for a vegetarian. Very few choices. Unfortunately I wouldn't go back.
The free entry into the park was great and the tickets for the activities. We loved the Red Pandas and seeing all the animals. Breakfast was a good choice.

SpainThere is nothing to like... the animals are very sad, the staff was unfriendly, the surroundings are run down.
Absolutely bad bad experience.... the facilities are run down, the stuff is unfriendly. We didn't sleep whole night because the roof tops opened and we saw 14 sm centipede, that is mortal for children. We refused to stay the second night, failed the complained and they didn't return even money for the second night.
