The location was a little difficult to find on google maps!

This property is absolutely gorgeous! It is about a 15-20 minute drive from beaches and small town centres. The hotel itself has a very unique exterior (medieval-looking), but is surprisingly modern indoors. We were upgraded to a nicer room (free of charge) and the staff was extremely helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!

The view from the room was beautifull and relaxing, but you had to choose between the view and your privacy by closing the curtains. The curtains were pretty well resolved: ones to shade and another's completely opaque.

Very quiet and relaxing. The views within the property are nice, the swimming pool is suite. And wonderful breakfasts!

Maintenance to be improved, a lot of facilities need to be fixed or are rather worn out (this degrades 4* hotel to modest 3*) Cleanliness could be improved too but nothing really significant Tiny TV in the room Overall impression: someone developed a nice design boutique hotel approx. 15 years ago but neglected the maintanance since then which resulted in some awkward feelings about quality of the room

Large room Large bathroom Easy parking Very good breakfast Design of the hotel

Staff very friendly and spoke good English Breakfast was good - both for quality and choice Accommodation clean and roomy Pool looked good but didn't try it

Ses Arrels is not a 4 stars hotel from my opinion. Maybe 20 years ago but not now. Some examples: Breakfast is very poor: not fresh fruit and frozen bakery is what you can expect. Facilities? Poor again...you will find a funny old fashion tv in your room that looks like a Pc screen... Many of tiny details are making you think you are not in a 4 stars hotel...

Just staff. All of them are doing a good job. Ses Arrels Hotel should pay more money to them. As i saw some of them were multitasking for example: hotel receptionist doing breakfasts?! thats not good at all for them and for the hotel...

Dinner and breakfast were kind of service station food. The dessert pie they served after dinner was frozen and the girl didn't even ask if it was ok. The staff at restaurant and for breakfast was quite direct and almost launched plates at our table. This is not a 4star rural house, it's just a rural house badly renewed and with casual staff. Decoration and furniture were basic and cheap.

2 chairs and small table outside each bungalow, need of sun umbrellas even before summer by the nice pool. I'm sure they would have put them if asked. Few foreign cable channels would be appreciated and would be a plus But not so commun in Spain anyway

It's a lovely hotel, old Más of 400 hundreds year renoved, the modern cubical bungalows are very fine, and in its modern style doesn't ruins the lovely property . Very nice breakfast, GREAT STAFF, KIND FRIENDLY, GRACIAS A SOPHIA. A simple place with nice decoration where you feel like home

The bed was exceptionally uncomfortable, we think it needs to be changed. Breakfast was normal, it could perhaps include some spanish tortilla, or hot spanish breakfast items The receptionist that comes in after 4pm could be friendlier and more helpful like Esther, Esther is AMAZING!! Pool should be heated for cold weathers.

We like that the house itself was an old stone masia, loved that. Also love the quietness of the surroundings but just a quick drive to many beautiful towns and the sea. We also love esther's services! =)

It would've been nice to be able to hire or buy pool towels!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pool was great and we used it every day. Breakfast was wonderful and varied. Staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and providing us with cutlery, wine glasses etc when we had a little charcuterie on our outside terrace. We stayed in the modern wing which was a bit spartan but very quiet and functional. Good value for money. The surrounds really make the place and it's also perfect for getting to lovely coastal towns, such as Callafrugell and Tamariu.
