Great place. Free parking, breakfast included. Very polite and helpful staff. Very nice pool and great views from the room. City centre is 20 min walk. In the evening need to take a car as there are no lights. In general great hotel, I’d book it again for sure. Just remember it’s a 3-star hotel so rooms are v simple and furniture are old but it’s clean.

Nothing really, The hotel is not big on food although the breakfast is really good. Don't come here if you want fine dining. The truth is that Cadaques has so many fantastic restaurants , you wouldn't really want to eat in the hotel anyway

The hotel has wonderful staff, it is modern, clean, everything works and nothing is a problem for the staff. This is our second visit. The hotel is physically located in a great part of Cadaques, right by the beach and a very pleasant 15 min walk to the centre along the beach. We prefer it to the hotels in the centre which are generally old, noisy and difficult to park. We will always come back to Sol Ixent when visiting Cadaques

Beautiful location. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Lovely airy rooms and nice layout. Stunning large pool, with the restaurant and breakfast overlooking the pool. Nice easy accessible parking. Absolutely amazing staff, all polite and accommodating. Nothing was any trouble and all so easy to talk to.

All in all a wonderful weeks holiday in Cadaques thanks to the superb accomodation at Sol Ixent:-) Perfect weather and quiet to enjoy our stay in the hotel to the full. Very friendly staff, superb breakfast, everything very well maintained and cared for - the rooms, the pool, the environment, the grounds. We look forward to our next visit!

This property is some distance from town. Too far to walk. Roads are dark. No taxis in the evening to or from town. So, you need to take your car everywhere. There is a car park en route which can be used but it means a 10 minute steep walk down (and back up) from town. Otherwise its about a 10 minute drive to the town's main car park. The hotel is in a lovely setting - peacefully away from Cadaques which is quite busy - but it really needs a curtesy mini bus operating daytime & evening. Especially if the restaurant is not serving in the evening.

Attractive building & setting. Nice pool. Plenty of shady areas near the pool if required. Friendly efficient staff. Good buffet breakfast and an excellent evening meal (although I understand that until we arrived in September the restaurant only served at lunchtime and closed in the evening). Spacious balcony with attractive view across property & pool to the sea.

Everything is tile, which means all sound travels. The halls outside the rooms could benefit from some insulation to dampen noise - I got woken up by people in the hall each morning which was a bummer. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, but the dinner wasn’t worth the prices other than the convenience of getting to stay nearby. Many other better restaurants in town that are less expensive and better quality food. The service is absolutely excellent though, even in the restaurant, and the dinner I had there was lovely largely because of that.

The location, the pool, and the staff were clear highlights. Every single person I interacted with was personable, helpful, kind. They were truly amongst the best hotel staff I’ve ever encountered and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and well-oriented in their city. The location is beautiful and quiet and the pool is an absolute dream. This is my official place anytime I go back to Cadaqués from now on for sure.

For some reason the bed linens were not very good and bed was slanted.

The facilites are 1st rate with the pool area and open cafeteria area being outstanding. Views were amazing and parking was plenty. Breakfast was excellent.

We had a perfect stay in the hotel. Great location right by the sea with beautiful walk along the water into town, amazing pool and restaurant area, room with sea view, great breakfast and dinner, super friendly staff, comfortable modern home. We will come back for sure ❤️☺️

The distance from the town is about 25 minutes walk which is too far in the dark. We stayed there in September and the restaurant was closed at lunchtimes and was also closed on our first evening.

Hotel is nicely finished and food in the restaurant is good. The sea view from our room was quite nice. The pool was lovely and quiet with plenty of spreading room. Plenty of free parking available. The staff were very friendly and helpful
