Small details because I loved it, but in a hotel of this calibre, you don’t expect shampoo and body wash in one product. I would expect this from a 3* chain hotel. My room was 5*. Why not have separate shampoo, conditioner and body wash. It feels cheapskate. Also, we could have done with instructions as to how to work the fancy in room lighting and electronics system. Very fancy but couldn’t work out how to close the curtains or turn off the balcony light, which kept us both awake. And finally, it was disappointing that so many things on the menu were unavailable. And print proper menus. It’s so annoying to have QR codes when only one of you has a phone and you’re having to scroll online (and one of you isn’t tech savvy), in what was meant to be a romantic meal.

Loved this beautiful property and will certainly return. Our room was spectacular and the views so beautiful. Had a wonderful stopover by the pool and a nice meal.

Great hotel in a extremely deep gorge. We only stayed one night, and didn't take advantage of the spa facilities, really enjoyed ourselves at the local historic town. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, and it was wonderful, and the staff were very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. Would go there again.

There was an extra charge of €20 to use the indoor pool / sauna etc. The weather was extremely hot when we visited (August), which prevented us from enjoying the outdoor facilities and surrounding area as much.

A friendly, small, luxury hotel in a unique and idyllic setting. Everything was too quality and the staff were super friendly and always helpful. The outdoor pool (open summertime) is lovely, and there's a separate (quite large) jacuzzi pool too. We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The village of Alcalá del Júcar is a shortish walk along the road (or an even shorter drive) and is one of the most picturesque places I've ever been to. It has a church, a few restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets, as well as the historic castle at the top of the hill.

Breakfast was probably the worst I’ve seen in a hotel ever. Lunch and dinner was very little to choose from we spent €160+ a day on the same thing. The food we did get was nice but I think the overall menu needs to be looked at for everything. But sure it’s Spain so not much elsewhere either!

Everything was amazing! We loved the pool area and how the staff were so accommodating they would even serve you at the pool with a buzzer you could call them! It’s complete luxury I’ve been to most unreal hotels but this is crazy!

The room needed tissues, more towels, extra sleeping pillows and a shower door so that the floor near the toilet doesn’t get all wet.

Hotel is located by the river Jucar in a valley surrounded by towering walls of a canyon. Lovely swimming pool with grassed area, tennis court and plenty of parking. Hotel is modern and clean. Good sized bedroom and bathrooom - most rooms having a south facing balcony. Dining area spacious including large outside dining space. Staff friendly and helpful. Great menu and very tasty food so recommend having dinner there.
