Self service breakfast. Having to pay for WiFi if wanted more than 15minutes free. Having to pay to use the safe if needed. Too large for our liking and too impersonal.

Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, far away from city, restaurants, shops etc. Breakfast boring, without wide selection. Water in swimming pool extremly cold. We could not use it. Internet is paid! In XXI century?!? Morover after 4 days internet broked down and hotel could not repair it so we cannot use wifi! Irrational system of renting towels, you have to keep small papier to recover money (deposit). In the room there are two double beds that is why there is no enough space to comfortable live.

    Nice view.

no cash machine on site and nearest was over 2 miles away. Awkward when you have kids wanting to play in the arcade which is cash only.

Amazing outdoor pool complex and lovely spa. Buffet meals were varied and plentiful.

Hotel location is a big disadvantage for me personally. I have to admit that it's situated in very nice place (on cliff) but unfortunately these are outskirts of Almunecar city. If you don't have a rented car and you don't like spending time only in the hotel than it's getting very problematic. First shop you will find after 5km walk to the city. Beach is very small and rocky. There are just 2 restaurants in the area and one gift shop.

Activities for kids and night shows, very nice infinity pool and interior pools, dinners sometimes quite impressive but you will get bored after few times, very big rooms and bathrooms

It was a one hour walk to the town of Almunecar. Very few places nearby to eat out. Evening activities in the main bar area were aimed mainly at young families and not adults.

The wonderful outdoor infinity pool and the proximity to the beach. Great if the weather is good. Large bedroom, large bathroom and large balcony with lovely view of the beach. Good sporting and other activities. Relaxed cafe bar to eat in as well as the restaurant.

The food in the restaurant had limited choice and they didn't rotate the choices at all, after a week it became very predictable, in fact on he last evening we eat elsewhere for a change.

They gave me a free bottle of bubbly on my birthday when they spotted my birthday cards on the side board in our room, it was a very nice gift.

The airport shuttle costs Euro 100+ one way. The room are small and boring. I rather paid 55% more for a good room. The food is the same every day, tasteless and not fresh. The coffee is bad, except in the bar for payments. The hotel is isolated, no shops, no restaurants, nothing. The place is extremely pet-UNfriendly! Full of pre-school children and hundreds of Polish family-tourists. Two restaurants and two bars are closed all the time, providing no alternative. The inside pool is also closed. The management is cold and rigid, not helpful at all. Construction work nearby is noisy.

The staff is nice and friendly. Some of the fruits are reasonable. One feels happy when leaving.

Average food, staff too busy to answer general questions, WIFI is charged for, not complimentary in lobby area as they advertised, you only get 1hr and then its so slow nothing will load. No shops or restaurants nearby, these are at least 30 mins walk. Matresses and pillows below standard for '4' star hotel.

Great pools but too many kids.

We ordered a double bed - we got two! So far so good... However, they were extremely firm leaving me with a stiff back in the morning. Personally I thought the evening buffet was expensive, so only used it once, and I wasn't impressed with the choices available. The biggest problem we had was with the lighting in our room: very unreliable! Sometimes the bathroom lights would only work if the key was removed and put back in, sometimes you had to turn on the main lights before they'd work - not convenient if someone is asleep!

Beautiful location, fantastic view from our bedroom (although the same couldn't be said for my son's penthouse room). The swimming pools and jacuzzis were excellent. I particularly liked the infinity pool. The breakfast buffet was also very good, although slightly expensive at 10 euros each a day.

I stil can't put my finger on what it was with the staff - utterly impersonal. The first phrase out of their mouths was 'that's extra'. I also got the feeling that not being a Spanish speaker was almost treason. One exception on staff - The dining room people were great. Checking in was only a little less chaotic than a horse fair - people milling around, lots of shouting, and the reception staff in fancy dress and all their faces painted.

The room was huge. The pool was second to none. Food was good if predictable. Im sure it could be a great place for families with children. For a solo traveller and only being there for two days maybe they just aren' interested in that business

The lack of free Wifi throughout the hotel was disappointing - 60 minutes per day and only in the lobby area. Not good if you are planning on traveling with teenagers !

Excellent facilities; the spa was superb as were the several swimming pools and jacuzzi. Food was very good indeed with plenty of variety. Not all the staff speak English, but those that do try very hard to help. Plenty of activities and a range of evening entertainment or just do nothing but enjoy the stunning views ! Plenty of sun loungers and a private area with Bali beds for a supplement. Highly recommended.
