Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our room did get some noise because there was a service area underneath and it did look out over the car park. Wasn’t the cheapest room, so lost a mark on that. Also some damage to the bath and done bathroom fittings meant could not give a 10
Location and facilities, a grand and well renowned hotel in Seville. Wonderful building with a central courtyard, terrace, and gardens. Room was spacious.

Beautiful old hotel, full of stylish historic interiors. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent location with valet parking..which is a plus in Seville! Easy walking distance to the Cathedral and the centre.

Hotel was very good and you pay a high price for it. Would always be better if you can access a deal.
Excellent location for the wonderful City of Seville. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous and the room was very comfortable. We hired a car and had to pay 30 Euros per day for parking in the hotel, which was a waste as we did not use it for 5 days!!! Maybe a taxi to the hotel would have been more sensible.

The servicing of the room (on the Sunday we stayed) didn´t take place until nearly 5pm (just when we returned to the room). We had been out since 9am but there was no sign to hang on the door to show that housekeeping could take place.
The hotel offered a complimentary tour of the hotel with focus on the history and art. Very interesting.

Requested early entry to room as we arrived via plane at 10am. This did not happen and the phonecall we were promised didn't materialise. The swimming pool was freezing. Accept it is February but it really is cold. However great for dealing with knee swelling after a lot of walking. Requested balcony which we were given but doors were locked with no key available. Not sure very safe if there had been a fire Bar closed at 8pm and staff very quick to remove you. Seemed a bit early. On the expensive side as a hotel

Hotel is expensive but have to treat yourself once in a while, you deserve it.
Location, location, location cannot do any better in the amazing city of Seville. Hotel feels like you are staying in a palace. Breakfast, room, grounds, views, everything was amazing.

The hotel is a MUST. I loved everything. If you travel to Seville, don’t think twice and have your stay in Hotel Alfonso XIII. The Hotel is so beautiful, so exquisite, wonderful, magnificent, well located. Staying in Hotel Alfonso XIII is an extraordinary dream. People are really kind . In the check in Alejandro and Tomás were so KIND so INCLUSIVE. I have no words to express my gratitude. I adore staying here. Breakfast is extraordinary, lunch in the veranda under the sun was spectacular .
