Nothing really! Even the guy at the swimming pool was kind and helpful!

Everything was great, a little oasis in the deserted Fuerteventura. I got a super good value for money. Rooms are super spacious, lots of different areas in the room, breakfast is very fresh and has plenty of options. Very cosy hotel, nice size, and no mass tourism bothering. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying food. I recommend the restaurant just under the hotel.

The aircon in the room couldn't be switched off - perhaps a fault in that particular room. Would have been nice if the pool was larger and deeper.

The staff was lovely, the atmosphere fantastic and relaxing, the suite welcoming. Truly recommended.

Lovely resort, fabulous location on a unique island - well worth a visit!

Nasty sewage smell by the tennis courts was a bit off-putting but might be temporary (there were small building works there) and you couldn't smell it near the pool. Pity that they built the other two hotels nearby - the old photos of the resort in the late 1970s when it was the only one there looked really cool but that is just a symptom of the modern world and in any case, the planting of palm trees and cactuses around the resort maintained a feeling of space and there was still an uninterrupted view to the sea from the pool. The Wifi was not great and we were not able to pay for extra Wifi in the room because it was not working well enough but that is not the hotels fault and even our teenage daughters were fine with it (phone signal was fine so connection to the internet was always possible if you needed it).

Loved the layout of the individual pods/rooms and swimming pools, huge selection of really nice food for breakfast, nice local restaurant (open all day for drinks, ice creams and meals) just outside the property gates, beautiful beach just a little way over the (small) road outside the property, in a very nice part of the island! We only went to the nearest part of Costa Calma (a few minutes walk away) - seriously tacky tourist shops but not particularly crowded and the one restaurant that we tried was really very good (great service, super food and not too expensive). We hired a car, which was well worth it to drive around and get a bit more of a feel for the island but not necessary if you just want to lounge on the beach/by the pool and eat nice food.

The resort gets so many things 100% right, but there are some niggles.

Coffee is terrible, partly because it's the Canarian style i.e. roasted with sugar I think. But regardless it was horribly weak. Luckily there's a filter coffee machine in the room although it doesn't create hot coffee. The whine of the water treatment plant machinery adjacent to the resort was constant except for about one hour during my 11 day stay although it couldn't be heard inside with all the doors shut! The regular and noisy coaches which travel along the road "below" the resort are an irritation.

Dinner was very good and there was plenty of choice for breakfast too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable without being wow and it's nice to have a private outside area. The weather was gorgeous!

The start of our holiday was spoilt because Booking.com had not actually booked a room for us and the hotel was full on that first night. The Receptionist was amazing and she arranged for us to stay in a nearby apartment for the night. Phew

A perfect place to relax and be spoilt. Peaceful, no screaming kids. Wonderful accommodation and terrific staff. The food was great and every other evening it was waiter service. Breakfast is served until 11am so no missing out just because you have a lie in.

The water at the Terrazza restaurant was dreadfully expensive and not having all inclusive or halfboard (could only find breakfast only on Booking.com) made dinner at the main restaurant very expensive

The service was amaxing and always with a smile

We did not like the awful smell in the bathroom and had to ask for it to be sorted out 3 times. The hotel is at some distance from the nearest beaches which are difficult to get to having sharp inclines. This is particularly relevant for someone who has some difficulty walking. The meals at the hotel were generally good if a little repetitive. We did not enjoy the themed meals. One of the receptionists could be less than helpful.

The hotel was generally very quiet. Our room was comfortable and spacious and gave almost complete privacy. Most of the staff were polite and obliging.

The property is very dated and not a 4 star and not suitable for a younger crowd. Average age group 60+. Geared mainly for German audience and very few members of staff speak decent English. They all speak German though. The food was either bland or extremely salty, I would not go for a half board option. Not a lot of variety. You need to pay extra for the internet, the security box in the room, they charge you extra for tea, coffee and water with your dinner. This place could be exceptional ....but it is NOT.

Staff are extremely nice and friendly. Quiet, relaxing stay. Rooms clean. Beautiful, well kept garden.

Evening meals - BBQ/grill nights were fine (with nice live music entertainment), but the regular menu dinners were of a very poor standard - recommend eating out on those nights.

Huge clean beautiful accommodation, lovely well-maintained gardens, close to wonderful beaches, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Tasty breakfast, huge fresh selection. Friendly, helpful staff.

Poached eggs, they didn't do them. It is a little dated but we thought that just helped the ambiance of this place.

Where do you start, it's very different to anything we've stayed in before. Very quiet, the architecture was brilliant, staff couldn't do enough for you, the guy in reception in the evening's was fab, robe and slippers in our very large suite, not usual for 4*s. Swimming pools were well kept, in fact everything was well kept and clean.
