Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSofa was a little uncomfortable but everything else was perfect.
Central location, close to the harbour, shops, train station etc. Reception staff were super helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. We were only there one night so didn't use the kitchen facilities - so can't comment.

Location was fantastic for seeing Malaga City Centre as it is in Soho- the Boho arty side of rhe city. Great value for money with in easy reach of msin tourist attractions and surrounded by lots of bars restaurants and cafés. The food matket was also very close The appartmentcwas well equipt but some things do need updating and the shower was tricky as it sprayed the floor! The staff in the main building were super friendly and very helpful and arranged the airport taxi for our early morning flight It was a little noisy - but what do you expect when in the middle of a lively city centre!!! Just thought it was worth a mention.

Belgium1) We arrived to a room with an extremely smelly shower curtain - but it was supposed to have been replaced before our arrival. Also, the shower drain released small cockroaches every now and then. We immediately asked the hotel staff to fix these problems. The curtain was replaced - but nothing could be done about the bugs. We were told it's just normal in Malaga. I am unable to verify this. But be aware this is quite a nasty occurrence, to enter your shower every morning to find bugs in it. 2) a very weak AC - it required a full day until the room got to a tolerable temperature. Even then, you'll need to keep the door to the living room open, because the bedroom AC barely works.
1) Amazing location. A short walk to a beach, and an equally short one to the city. Cafes, tabernas, restaurants - all in a walking distance. 2) having a washing machine and a wee balcony was really nice - great to be able to wash your beach towels and such. 3) smart TV so you can cast from your mobile device. 4) kitchenette with a fridge AND a freezer 5) We had issues with the apartment, and the staff helped us rapidly - but sadly not everything could be fixed.

LatviaPillows were not so comfortable, but I think it’s a question of preferences. And very minimum equipped kitchen, but honestly you don’t need it too much as there are plenty of nice places to eat food and have a glass of wine.
The location in Soho is very nice - calm area and 2 minutes walk to the main Larios street and 1 minutes to Market. My room Nr.501 was great, small, but still very comfortable and with great big terrace!

United KingdomPicked up keys at the central office approx 50 meters from the apartment. The staff were very welcoming, polite and helpful. The location was great as expected having viewed maps. We have stayed many times in Malaga and so knew how close we were to everything we needed. Malaga is sometimes loud, colourful and has urban noise required to maintain the city and services so it was what we had expected and not a problem for us. The facilities in the apartment were exactly as described, comfortable and clean. We used the kitchen for breakfast only, picking up fresh bread from the bakery next door having used one of the very nearby supermarkets for the essentials ( jam, butter, milk etc..). The City was great as usual with something for all ages - the castle, beech, marina, many and various restaurants, city shops, architecture, easy travel down the coast....; lots to do. A great walking city and coastline we walked 90km in 5 days with plenty of stops for wine and tapas.

United States of AmericaThe shower is a problem. You have to turn the water off while bathing to conserve hot water. Two people cannot shower one after the other. And the shower head falls periodically

Ukrainein the photos, the number looks bigger than it really is! In fact, this is a studio with partitions. The pillow on the bed requires replacement, in my opinion it is better to have two pillows than one long?! The bed is small for two adults

United States of AmericaCheckin has very limited hours (like 5:00-7:00). Automated check in of some sort would really help the process. As may be expected in a city, parking is hard. They do have a garage with a couple spaces but it was very difficult to navigate even in a very small call. The wifi worked well enough for email and web surfing but struggled with video calls a bit.
This area is very nice. Easy walk to the central market, Larios, the port. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is not very well stocked, but good enough for a few meals in. There are cute restaurants and coffee shops right outside. The noise from the street was easy to hear early in the night, but it quieted down nicely after the restaurants close. Having your own space to spread out while still having hotel type amenities was fantastic.
