To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomNo tea/coffee making facilities in the room, so we used the cafe takeaway across the street. The hotel bar was permanently closed since covid. Shame, as would've been nice to use.
The staff were lovely and the hotel was close to the Gotic quarter and also central for Las Ramblas etc. We had breakfast (buffet style) and it was fresh with plenty of choice. The beds were a bit hard, but still comfortable. Bathroom clean with products and hairdryer. Also had a fridge and safe (at an extra cost)

Location was right in the centre and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. There is a metro on its doorstep which is easy to use and we used it to go to Sagrada Familia (20mins). All of the staff were very friendly and helpful but special shout out to Yasser on reception who was amazing!

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is walking distance from the major tourist spots, restaurants and very close to the Metro rail (L4 line)

RomaniaThe room doors do not block the sound at all. You can hear everything from the hallway and from the rooms next door. The bedsheets are not the best, they are an old style. The blanket is the first thing I would change. Other then that, everything was nice at this hotel.
The location of the hotel is amazing. The stuff is awesome and really helpful. The breakfast is ok, good value for money and you cand choose from a good variety of plates.

BulgariaThere was a foul smell of sludge from the toilet at times. When we were leaving we dropped something in the room. We called but the staff said they couldn't find it. This disappoints me.
The staff was great! The location was very convenient - the subway entrance was next to the hotel. Super comfortable! The breakfast was also good, but in the 4 days we were there there was nothing different. The coffee is espresso! and very good! The rooms are small but comfortable and clean!
