The hotel was super clean, the lady and the gentleman at the reception, when we checked in on the 7/2/24 were professional and very pleasant. The room was comfortable with a lots of charm. The Restaurant del Agua, where we dined, was fabulous, delicious food, great service.

Unfortunately the external pool was closed for maintenance, the internal one was very busy especially during the weekend. I didn't like the fact that on booking is written "superior room with access spa" when the access to the spa is included as service for every room that you booh also the standard one, It's a trick for gaining more money I guess and it worked with me.

I liked that it's like a resort where you have everything inside, like a small village. I was in a superior room which met my expectations

Hugely overcrowded indoor pool (one was closed for refurbishment/cleaning). Breakfast only ordinary and not up to level of a 4-star hotel

Emilio on reception was great - his colleagues not quite so. Nicely old-fashioned spa hotel. Good layout and mix of pools, cafe and restaurant over a decent sized area by the Segura. Isolated feel surrounded by nature. Casino bar/cafe excellent for tapas, snacks and drinks

Shame about the evening in the restaurant it was quiet. It could do with a super menu to attract more people

Lovely restaurant. Everything you’d want from a breakfast. I would recommend the scrambled eggs & smoked salmon

Love spending a few days in this place. Time in the spa was a lovely break in our trip. Really glad we went.

The room we got was only accessible by stairs. The AC really didn’t work well and it was 45°C (113°F). It was unbearable. We thought that leaving the ac running while we were out of the room would help, but it didn’t. Heat rises!! There was also a bad cat urine smell outside our room. When you go to a spa you have to get your hair wet. There’s no conditioner for your hair available unless you want to purchase a large bottle in the gift shop. Kind of crazy when you’re paying for a room.

The property was a beautiful old hotel. There is a 5min walk to the spa. The spa is so relaxing and is situated in a picturesque setting in the mountains. The Roman ruins are amazing to see too.

when booked it says spa access with the superior room when in fact spa access only applies to swimming pools so the description is incorrect in my opinion to access the actual spa facilities is an extra cost therefore this needs to be detailed when booking as it's misleading

The food was good but often was served quite cold and in the hotel dining room we felt it arrived too quickly and we felt rushed. Admittedly they were serving a lot of people but at the end of a very leisurely and relaxing day we would have liked our dinner to be just as relaxed.

Location and facilities. Breakfasts were excellent.

the beauty treatments in the newer area were so basic. As a salon owner myself I could tell they were carried out by very inexperienced therapists, with poor technique and a lazy attitude. The buffet restaurant was tragic and the Al La Carte was basic.

loved the old Roman style spa and the fact it’s a resort style village and you can walk around the village in a robe The poolside restaurant food was great and better than in the hotels in the resort

The toilet was broken. There was no communal meeting place apart from the reception area. Signposting from the town would have been helpful. .

Great customer service and helpful sraff. The room was adequate and suited our needs. The location was fabulous. The adjacent casino bar area was stunning but needs to be upgraded food wise. Special mention for tte exceptional dancers to the resident musician.

Reception surly and slow. Tried to check us out three days early. Very stressful. Had to show proof of booking, no apology.Too far out of town meant you needed a car or taxi to leave Hotel complex. Booked alarm call didn't happen.

Good breakfast, but once something was finished it wasn't replenished. Huge thermal pools very clean with lots of massage jets. Plenty of sunbeds and shades. Evening keyboard music for dancing. Lovely gardens, quick bar service.

Would have been better to have adjustable sun beds. I wasn’t convinced they did much recycling of refuse, there was no opportunity to separate what was thrown away in the outside areas. Cans plastic glasses and general waste all went in to the same bins. these places generate a lot of waste and need to do as much as possible to reduce waste and recycle

The ambience was lovely staff helpful and very clean
