Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. PortugalLoved everything.
This place? A total gem. Clean and smelled so fresh I half expected a flower shop around the corner. The balcony? Big enough to lose a small person - with sea views that made my morning coffee feel like a luxury retreat. The bathroom was stylish without trying too hard - like that one friend who knows they’re hot but doesn’t need to brag about it. Aircon was a blessing because Tenerife sun doesn’t mess around. The pool? Massive. Not just big - Olympic village-level. I started wondering if we were supposed to be training for something. The host? Lovely and replied faster than I could Google “how do I move here permanently?” Check-in and out was smoother than my coffee routine. Location’s right by the motorway, which made getting around super easy. And the north of Tenerife? Way more chill and authentic than the usual tourist circus. If you see this place available - don’t think, just book. You’ll thank me later.

RomaniaRight when we landed, the owner informed us that the previous guests broke the glass of the sliding doors to the terrace on a previous day. For most of our stay, we had one side of the doors sandwiched between cardboard and the outer blinds and for the other side we had to use just the blinds to cover the gap. Maybe this should've warranted us a discount, but I realize it was not the fault of the owner and we managed just fine. We could still use the balcony and our experience was still very good. However, there are some things that could've made it exceptional: - although there are many facilities, some of the most essential were missing. For example, there was only a tiny bit of shower gel, shampoo and soap, all left from previous tourists. I believe all toiletries, spices, coffee, tea and "consumables" are left from other tourists. Also no paper towels. Toiletries should be provided and replenished by the host. There was a beach umbrella and hats, but no beach towels - not mandatory, but would have been nice. That fact that we had only a set of towels for 8 days is unforgivable. There should've been 2 sets so we can wash one of them. And it would've been a nice courtesy to provide at least a bottle of water in the fridge, especially since we were "greeted" with the news of the broken glass doors. Other places even give you a bottle of wine or fruit or snacks. - the second thing that holds this experience from being superb is that the host was a bit pushy to let the repair company replace the glass at 8:30 in the morning, though we agreed they should only come while we were out, NOT in the morning. We refused, but I think we could've really avoided that conversation and go on with the original plan.
We wanted a spacious apartment with terrace and sea view in a quiet area and we got exactly that. There are some inconveniences to staying in a small town that does not attract tourists (less restaurants and shops), but also advantages - quiet and great view. We loved having relaxed breakfasts on the balcony while admiring the sun rising above the calm sea and listening to parrots singing in the palm trees below. We love the quiet life of the town and the promenade along the black sand beach. A lot of people complain about not finding a parking spot, but even the big gravel parking is not that far away. You come to Tenerife for the hikes, so walking 100-200 meters shouldn't be a problem. And if you really want to complain about parking, go to Los Cristianos on a holiday >:) The apartment is well equipped with all the appliances and tools one might need - big fridge, washing machine (no dryer, but there's a rack), induction stove, oven, kettle, moka pot, drip filter, toaster, microwave, iron and probably other stuff I didn't notice. There are also plenty of power outlets. Check-in and check out are very convenient. We didn't use the pool, but it looked really nice and clean. Fully recommend this place (unless you want to stay in a resort in the South).

PolandI had a wonderful stay! The view from the window was absolutely stunning, and it made the experience even more enjoyable. The accommodation offered plenty of amenities, which made everything so convenient. The kitchen was fully equipped, so I had everything I needed to prepare meals. Additionally, the communication with the owner was excellent – they were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this place!

EstoniaIf you’re planning to cook meals bear in mind that there are cockroaches in the kitchen area, which we were told is a normalcy in Tenerife. I felt that the kitchen area could have been cleaned more thoroughly and some prevention could be used to try to avoid those annoying “guests”.
I honestly loved the location. Even though there was not much to do in the town itself the location was conveniently close to all the sights we wanted to see (assuming you get a car of course). We loved the sunny patio as well as the pool area. The building and the whole area gives nostalgic 90s vibe. The apartment is nicely equipped. Even though it’s a little outdated it still has cozy feel and an amazing view to the ocean.

PolandWater pressure is a bit low in the shower, but not a problem. Everything else was fine.
The apartment is slightly dated, but clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped with full-size refrigerator, toaster, kettle, etc. The sea view is very good with morning sun over the water. We weren't sure about the neighborhood at first, very quiet, but no restaurants or shops. Then we discovered within a 10 minute walk everything we needed, beach, shops, restaurants, stores. The free street parking fills up, but we always found a spot reasonably close. We were happy with our stay!

Romania-
From the moment we entered the apartment we felt just like at home. We had all the necessities to cook, a comfortable bed, a living room, a great terrace with an amazing view to the sea, and a big bathroom. All squeaky clean. The building complex was well managed, had an elevator (apartment is on the 8th floor), and a coffee bar on the ground level. Just one km away from the highway, a good place to explore the island from. Las Caletillas is such a nice place, very good restaurants on the sea side and local cute bars near the apartment complex just made it cozy. We felt very welcome, also very good communication with the host. I would come back there for sure.

United KingdomThe block and area is looking a bit tired and there are plans to rejuvenate the area. English is hardly spoken which can be challenging in restaurants. The restaurants do not give you a wide choice and opening days and times are limited at this time of the year. More detail on these matters would have been useful. Car rental is essential and there is free parking in the surrounding roads on a first come first served basis.
Very nice apartment in a residential block and area.

IrelandWe did like everything really... I see some complains about parking from other travellers and this can be the case, however there is gravel parking just beside the basketball pitch, which is always available. The view from the apartment is fantastic indeed, but it is somehow spoiled by abandoned hotel as well as other residential building that is closer to the see.
One bedroom apartment with fantastic views. Big terrace where you can relax in the afternoon when the sun sets down a little bit. Miriam is fantastic host, she organised some stuff for baby when we asked, she was very helpful. Kitchen is well equipped, there is lot of cabinets with some extra space for your luggage or clothes. There is fantastic mountain view to the rear of the apartment, although you cannot really enjoy it as there is no window.
