A real Palacio with amazing breakfast!

My son and I had to leave earlier than breakfast would be served in the morning, and the hotel staff was happy to give us bags or boxes to bring up to our room so we could eat before checking out. Additionally, the staff recommended a good restaurant for our dinner the previous evening.

The only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of the bathroom, the shower/bathtub area had mold! The handshower had a very short cable, it was difficult to take a shower comfortably there. The bathtub had some holes, which they tried to fix, but they were quite visible and I wouldn't want to take a bath there.

Location is perfect, right in the historical center, that's why we chose this hotel, seemed to be a very good value-price ratio. The interior of the hotel is amazing, a historical building altogether. I can also recommend the hotel restaurant, from breakfast 'til dinner perfect choice for all kinds of meals, very good quality food with reasonable price.

The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating with a couple of requests that we needed. The breakfast buffet was amazing with competent attentive staff. The room was clean with comfortable beds and quite large bathroom. all well furnished. Definitely recommend and would certainly choose that hotel when returning to Avila.

Incredibly central and surprisingly upscale for the price. It was interesting to wander around as it’s an historic building. Shower was good and bed was comfortable. There was a sharp frost outside but it was warm enough in my room to walk around undressed.

Location was perfect in the center of the old walled city just across from the cathedral and near shopping and the wall walk entrance. The front desk was very helpful and efficient and the support staff were courteous. The breakfast selection and service at the buffet was outstanding.

Staff were helpful, but a little impersonal at times. There was a water quality problem which lasted several hours during one day; this was not the fault of the hotel, but the management could have handled the situation a little better.

Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, if just a little small; the bathroom was more spacious and had an excellent shower. General areas were spacious and welcoming, with a patio and an enormous breakfast room.

Upon our arrival at the airport, we were warmly greeted by the incredibly amiable driver of the complimentary shuttle service, which was truly outstanding. Upon reaching the hotel, we were met by an exceptionally friendly staff. The rooms were delightful, and the beds offered remarkable comfort. We were pleasantly surprised with a welcome drink at the bar, and the room amenities included complimentary fruit, coffee, and water. While the location is slightly outside the city, it is within walking distance, and the hotel offers a convenient free transfer service. I wholeheartedly endorse this hotel and highly recommend it.

The food in the restaurant was not of the standard I expected given how good the rest was, the chaleton was full of nerves and the knife provided was totally useless and made a the meat impossible to cut. Also adding the patatas and the Judias as a starter and the chuleton is far too much
