Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

What I really did not like was collecting the keys from a agent office elsewhere in town. You had to wait inline an although the office staff was very friendly, customer driven, fast and professional it did take us 35 minutes waiting in the sun at 32 Celsius before we could get inside. We were the 5th in the cue. When we left there were at least 10 families still waiting outside with the line getting longer. Ocean view on the third level with palm trees blocking the sea view, was not my idea of ocean view. a lot of interior stuff like the beds and bathroom items are poor in quality. Had to fix the beds a couple of times as my suns, skinny but over 190 cm went through the beds when asleep. Also, some furniture and pluming are not made for existence use and sowed signes of poor quality.
The apartment was a very nice, beautiful, large with a lot of luxury, comfort and an incredible balcony. Direct on the beach and with your own parking place in the basement. Make sure that you double check the boiler adjustments otherwise you can only shower for 3 minutes. Figert the boiler out with 3 days' remaining.

We aid for baby cot but we did not get the linen - tat is strange as for the other beds we had lined. The hot water was never enough even for a quick shower of entire family (we are 4, 2 little kids). Also I definitely propose that a sun umbrella should be available,, if you arrive by plane how it si expected to bring your own - we bought one for 16 euro and left it there, hope it will help other guests. Coffee machine was only American coffee (swartz) - we were really surprised as in Europe it never happened to us, this common coffee is espresso). Another suggestion - provide cooling bag. All these are small things but could make the stay really unforgettable and people will feel much touched. Even if it is needed to uncrease the price.
Great place, fantastic location just seeing the beach in front of you. However the beach itself was not very nice, rocky with some artificially added sand on the back. We were going to Orpesa and other beaches nearby to enjoy the sea and nice beach. But without a car it is impossible. The neighborhood is great with everything that might be needed, entertainment, stores, restaurants. This was totally Spanish speaking region so if you don't know at least few words there is a pretty good chance you have difficulties getting what you want. Menues in restaurants in Spanish only as well.

Although you can find practically everything you need in the apartment, but most of the furniture and household appliances are old and need updating or changing. Sofa should be changed to a new one immediately, dishwasher is rusty, drawers in the bathroom are difficult to open and close. It was a surprise not to find a hairdryer, even though it's my mistake not to read description carefully. In my opinion apartment is suitable for locals who travel with a lot of stuff, but not for international travelers. You have to bring your own towels or they cost 10 € to rent. Even small things you usually find, like soup, salt & pepper, dishwasher tablets and similar, you have to buy.
Spacious apartment with huge terrace and sea view and free underground parking space. We have received quick help restoring the wi-fi connection from the company renting apartment during our stay, thank you for that.
