I believe that the owner controls somehow the hot water - it wasn't available all the time. also the cleaning lady was trying twice to get into our room by forcing opening the door at morning before the checkout time. The first time she woke us up and the second time it was very pushy - instead of just knocking and checking if there's someone in.

The room was quite small for a triple and one chair is not enough space to keep the majority of our belongings off the floor. When we arrived, no one was at home and we had not received a code or other instructions for gaining access. Luckily, another guest came along, and called the host on her Spanish phone, who gave us access. Would not have liked to sit out in the sun much longer without gaining entry. There are no small shops to buy a drink anywhere close by. We had to walk about a half mile into town to find a refreshing drink.

I loved that it had a personal large verandah. The beds were very clean and comfortable.

It was a fair walk to the Main Street.

We were made very welcome by the host. We had a private room with a on suite bathroom. We had 2 night stay with use of the kitchen and washing machine. Nice outside space for relaxing.

Distance from the main part of town- I had walked the Camino and to then have to walk up a hill was a bit far- got a taxi back.

The location. If you are a pilgrim walking the Camino, after ending the stage to Arzua it’s not nice to keep walking uphill for the hotel. Also, if you want to ear or buy water you have to go back almost 1 km. Also, the room is very small. It said twin or double room but I take it as a single room. The bed is small, luckily we are slim, otherwise it would’ve been a challenge to sleep together in a 1,35m bed. The shower is very very small, almost claustrophobic and it could use a renovation.

The lady was very nice and let us check-in earlier. They have a washing machine you can use.

Got there in the check-in time like at 14h03 nobody was there / didn't have a kitchen as mentioned / kinda of dissapointed and one of the reasons was to have the kitchen

We arrived after 2pm (checkin is from 2pm), but nobody was at the property. We rang both of the doorbells, unfortunatelly no one answered. I've got a message after my reservation from the staff through Booking.com, where they confirmed the reservation (on the 7th of March, we were arriving on the 27th of April), but no other instruction as to how to get into the house, nor which one is our room, and how to find the keys for it. 20+ minutes and 3 different phone numbers later, (through whatsapp, phone, booking.com) I was able to get a hold of someone, who told us the code to the front door,, so we were able to get into the house, but still we didn't know which one is our room. The "staff member" (we don't know who we spoke to exactly) told us 2 different rooms, which didn't even had the keys in the locker, but thankfully, there was one key left in one door, so we tried to open that one, and it was a clean room, we asked if that was meant for us, to which we got the answer "OK". On our whole trip (15 days so far) we never had such stress and difficulty to get our room. It was not a pleasent experience. The house is half a km away from the Camino road, and the kitchen is outside of the house (so you have to come downstairs, go out of the house, go through a gate, go into the kitchen, and go back to the "main" house).

Clean room, there is smart TV so netflix and other streaming services can be used, quiet place.
