How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Verified reviewGood central location. Only a short walk to Siam park etc and anything not walkable is a short car journey around 10minutes or so. Apartment was clean spacious and quiet. Furniture was all in good condition and the sofa and beds were really comfy! The terrace is huge and not overlooked. There’s Air con in every room, Tv in the living room is a smart tv with Netflix etc and extra tv in the master, kitchen was modern and working. Breakfast was really nice and staff were lovely and welcoming.
Just an FYI not a complaint! The hill leading up to the residences is quite steep, we happily walked down it on our way out, but got taxis back up it after the first night!. But I am very lazy and Tenerife has a lot of hills so it’s not just here.

Verified reviewHuge apartment with all the facilities we needed, the terrace was great with sun loungers to chill out at the room, and the pool area was also great. Lovely views and very clean.
We knew this before going but it is up a really steep hill with lots of steps to get to the apartments, so just keep in mind. Also, you can hear people screaming at Siam Park so sometimes wasn’t the most relaxing.

Verified reviewSpacious Apartment: The 2-bedroom unit is roomy and comfortable. Reception: Staff are available at the front desk throughout the day. Ocean View: Acceptable, though not spectacular. Pool Size: Decent, though not exceptional. Location: Right next to Siam Water Park but far from beach.
I believe in providing honest and practical feedback. Here are some important points to consider before booking: Towel Policy: No towel change for stays under 5 nights. For longer stays, only one change is allowed. There is a shared laundry area, but it's chargeable. It feels like towel exchange is monetized aggressively. Room Cleaning: Not included in the price. Cleaning costs €75 per session. Accessibility: DO NOT BOOK unless you have a car. The uphill walk to the property can be extremely difficult, especially for elderly guests. Noise Restrictions: Playing music on your phone is not allowed after 8 PM. I thought of chilling outside with light music. Kids’ Activities: The LEGO room/activity area is only open from 11:00 to 12:00 — just one hour a day, which is extremely disappointing.Never able to use it. Swimming Pool Hours: Open from 10:00 to 19:00. Early risers may struggle to fit both pool and beach activities into the same day. Hot Water: Not available between April and October. Balcony: Spacious with a decent view, but most seating areas face a large wall and feel like 1 star hotel. Dishwasher: Poor quality. Limited detergent capsules are provided, and requesting more incurs a fee. Parking: Can be extremely challenging if you're not used to steep slopes and tight spaces. Staff Behavior: Some staff members were noticeably rude, which impacted the overall experience.

Verified reviewGreat view, beautiful apartments, friendly staff, affordable food and drinks, safe and secure, fabulous weather and just a lovely place.
The only downside is that there is not enough movable sun umbrellas around the pool, did speak to several people with young families that were trying to keep their young ones out of the sun during the super hot hours but unfortunately there just aren’t enough made available. Six more were added during the time I was there but in my opinion they need at least a dozen more in ratio to the number of sun loungers. It’s a great place but could be exceptional if everyone can stay safe in the sun. Also the hill up to the resort is very steep but you do get used to it or alternatively use the local taxis. It’s a good workout after an evening meal out but not suitable for those with mobility problems. In last couple of years the water park, Siam Park operates evening admissions during July and August from Tuesday to Saturday so you can hear the people using it screaming until gone midnight so it’s not great if you are a light sleeper but the trees are growing up around the park so in a few years the noise should lessen, fingers crossed.

Verified reviewThe room was very nice the staff wore not helpful or kind at all
The bar staff wore very rude and extremely intimidating and that is why I am very upset
Dear Ciara, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to read that you found the room very nice, though we are truly sorry to learn that your overall experience was overshadowed by your interactions with our staff. It is especially concerning to hear that you found our bar staff rude and intimidating. This is not the standard of service we aim to provide, and we will be addressing this matter with the team immediately. We also regret that you requested to see a manager but were not contacted. Unfortunately, this was not brought to our attention at the time, otherwise we would have acted straight away to meet with you and resolve the situation in person. Your comments have been shared with the relevant managers to ensure this is followed up with our team, and we will work to prevent a recurrence. We very much value your feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope you might consider giving us another opportunity to provide the level of service we are known for. A little confusing finding our apartment, but that’s all

Verified reviewThe apartment was excellent. Spotless, spacious with a huge terrace. Perfect for self catering.
The pool is lovely, but small. It closes at 7pm, as does all pool side service, so no pool bar, no evening swim. This seems really odd in peak season given alot of people prefer the cooler evening to come out to swim and enjoy the bar.

Verified reviewQuiet location, close to the beach and other local amenities Friendly and helpful staff
Half board menu didn't have much to choose from if you're staying for many days. Would have preferred a buffet with a selection of vegetables and salads, but we understand it might be costly as it is a small site.

Verified reviewStaff were all excellent. Restaurant staff so friendly. Food was great. Activities for kids were great - staff knew their names and were so lovely. A lovely quiet complex with fabulous views.
The hotel is built on a hill so some of the apartments are really high up. Not suitable for older people with limitations in mobility. Apartment on floor 8 needed 4 lifts to get to unless you are able to climb the stairs. The one bed room apartments are older and not as nice as the 2 bed apartments.
