Charming and relaxing building and setting Friendly staff Good choices at breakfast

The weather! No, but seriously - no criticisms.

The building is picturesque and the inside charming with lots of exposed beams and dark wood. There is a spacious, comfortably furnished bar and a pleasant restaurant serving excellent breakfasts and dinners. We had a huge, bright and airy room (with a three piece suite and coffee table!) looking out over fields. It's very peaceful and less tah ten minutes walk to the centre of town and the port.

The hotel was very beautiful with a sense of medieval. It is located in the nature of lekeitio.

Nothing much to say here, the food was okay, certainly not bad but not something you would say amazing, go there for the food. Nothing else really

loved the charm of the place, loved the staff who were all super nice and attentive. The building itself is perfectly old world charm, the bedroom very comfortable with some nice views of the grounds.

It is a little tired around the edges, not well ventilated bathroom so a bit mouldy around shower etc. But lovely old buildings require a lot of maintenance and still feel very good value. Was also a little disappointed we wanted to swim before breakfast pool was not open til 10am so we couldn't go in as were eating and checking out! However the sea was a lovely option!

Really historic building lovely setting. Good staff. Great buffet breakfast selection especially for a quiet morning. Would recommend. 5 minute walk to town. Nice bars and great beach for swimming.

Nothing really, but we did get an enormous hornet in our room which was a bit scary! We also didn't realise until we left the hotel that you can't turn left out of the hotel entrance and have to drive all the way round the one way streets of the town to get back to where you started!

The hotel is a real gem in lovely old buildings exquisitely renovated and so tastefully furnished. It has really welcoming public areas and the staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and we enjoyed being able to eat a light evening meal in the bar there. Our room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is in a quiet area with plenty of secure parking. It is only a 10 minute walk to the heart of Lekeitio with its lovely old streets and charming port area. We would love to come back and spend more time in this hotel and this area.

Unfortunately whilst we enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was good we should not have had dinner there. It was the worst dinner we had experienced in Spain and possibly the most expensive for what we had.I would recommend a stay here but to eat dinner elsewhere.

Amazing hotel in a great small town which is less busy than San Sebastian. Hotel is an oasis in the town with a lovely patio for drinks. Car parking is great - don't be put off by the entrance arch - your car will fit through! Did not eat in the restaurant for dinner but breakfast was great. Walked to the Faro lighthouse but the bar/cafe was closed betwen 3 and 5pm.. Also walked across causeway to island but the causeway is very slippy. We chose to paddle over the river and then cross the beach rather than walk back. By the way the beach is amazing. In the town most restaurants are for the locals but they will welcome you.

No fridge or water in the room. No air conditioning so we left the window open and consequently had several mosquito bites.

This hotel is a beautiful gem . The building is old and characterful , the staff were great. They stored our bikes in a secure garage. The restaurant was excellent , as was the breakfast. The bar was friendly and the swimming pool area really welcome.

Loved the location. The hotel is authentic and the people incredibly nice. The breakfast is amazing and the restaurant at night has the best food. You are only a few minutes away from the beach and the bubbly center of Lekeitio and can enjoy the pool as well. Nice extra: lots of parking space. In short: this stay is a small oasis!
