“My seven-year-old child and I stayed for 2 weeks; we both loved the delicious breakfast, fantastic location, attentive service and the comfortable room. Both Simon and Tesema looked after us for the duration of our stay. Gonder is going through some change, but is well worth a visit and is safe to see the sights. We particularly loved the terrace for awesome views around Gondar. See you next time, Simon and Tesema! ”

“I stayed before and after my hike in the Simien mountains in the lodge du chateau. Simon is an amazing host! He is so helpful and friendly, i can only recommend him. Also the overall staff was great. The breakfast was also amazing with a lot of different choices and the view from the Terrasse is beautiful!”
