Four Sisters Inn - Feels Like Home in the Heart of Gonder Staying at the Four Sisters Inn was an exceptional experience in every way. The rooms, each with a private bathroom, are immaculately clean and so tastefully designed, with attention given to even the smallest details. The sisters also operate a restaurant just a short walk from the Inn, beautifully decorated in authentic Ethiopian style. The menu is extensive, the food fresh and delicious, and the prices very reasonable. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the genuine warmth and hospitality. From the owners and manager to the guard at the gate, everyone is welcoming and eager to help. They are always ready to arrange local guides, tours, or taxis around Gonder and to and from the airport. The Inn is also conveniently located near the city’s major attractions, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. This is the kind of hotel that is difficult to leave. It feels less like staying in a business establishment and more like being among friends—far removed from the impersonal or profit-driven atmosphere some other hotels project. Whether you want to explore, relax, catch up on work, or simply unwind, this is the perfect setting. Four Sisters Inn is without question a must-stay for anyone visiting Gonder.

Really cool hotel. Nice details everywhere showing attention to guests. Within walking distance of four sisters restaurant which I loved and you should definitely try. Room was comfortable, great shower, and ample breakfast

Very clean and comfortable room with a huge balcony. The staff was very helpful, a very good contact with staff. Especially the young man at the reception - Solomon - was very supportive and helpful. Also an owner was always ready to help. The room was well equiped and spacious. Breakfast was very good - good service, tasty, a la carte. Good location and secure place.

A lovely, beautiful gem in Gonder! I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful house. It was immaculately clean, and everyone there was very very helpful. I wish I could stay longer and enjoy the hospitality.

Great location in the center of gondar, few min from the main attractions. Four sisters is a welcoming guest house, it provides you all the service you need to be comfortable in Gondar. Rooms is nice and clean with good bathroom and hot shower. Bed is large and comfortable. All the room is clean and the linen and towels changed on daily basis. The area is quiet, there is no noise inside the room and can sleep without any trouble. There are restaurants nearby, included one run by the same owner of the guesthouse which offers good local food. Highly recommended.

There was an issue with hot water availability in our first room, but we were quickly accommodated and given another room with water that works. Also the breakfast menu has no ethiopian options, but there’s plenty of local restaurants walking distance if you want that. Their western food is good.

Family owned business! The owner and staff are exceptionally warm and will do everything to accommodate you and make your experience in Gondar amazing. I felt as if I was at a relative’s house. Also the location is very ideal if you come for Timket. Atse Tewodros square/Piassa is less than 10min walk. Timkete Bahr/Fasil Bath is a bajaj ride away. Fasil Gibi is a short ride away too. Debre Birhan Selassie is walking distance. Plenty of local fresh butcher restaurants and bars walking distance too.

The room was clean, good hot shower, big balcony outside, downstairs has big common area, could read book, good breakfast, and the owner was very kind, offered us traditional coffee and homemade bread, and the restaurant was good as well.
