Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We have a very nice stay there. The location is very convenient. The bus stop is nearby. The apartment was clean and warm.

There was only 1 common bathroom in our apartment. They have a washing machine inside. Its a little cramp when you have to shower in that area with the washing machine beside it.
Great location close to amenities like shops, restaurants, bars and it was within walking distance to the bus stop where we alighted. We booked the two bed room apartment. Beds are comfortable and room is well insulated during winter. Kitchen comes with fridge, stove, microwave, pots and pans and utensils.

We couldn’t make the apartment dark and there was light and noise coming in all night. This is understandable given the central location but it was frustrating to have the light all night. The unusual bath/shower was very difficult to get in and out of and felt unsafe.
Location close to shops & restaurants, also most pickup points for tours. Kitchen well equipped although we couldn’t find a tea towel to dry dishes. Beds comfortable, apartment spacious.

It’s upstairs a night club where they give you earplugs the walls are very thin, could hear people just outside the hallway even
The price was the cheapest in the city center and it’s not bad - clean and has most things

Would be good to have a clothes horse for hanging/drying wet snow clothes over night. That said, it's warm so things dried over night over doors etc
The location is superb. 24hr supermarket just around corner which was lifesaver when we arrived late. Everything was on our doorstop with snow gear rental shop about 200 meters away. Santas city office around corner and bus stop to Santa clause village and also to lapland winter park about 400 meters away. was lovely and warm and so comfortable

The property is very clean and tidy. It is a great location and very central. No parking is provided but there is plenty of road parking and a carpark next to the apartment.

We had taken 2 apartments, they were given in 2 separate buildings, which made it difficult for us.

The check in process was a little annoying, due to trying to find the Pub/Bar location. To be fair the instructions were quite good, but I still found the business to be a little inconspicuous. The front door was difficult to open (I thought I had been given the wrong key).
Good location, and quite nice, considering the age of the apartment.

The toilet water drain was slightly clogged so the water wouldn't go down and the toilet would be flooded. Had to clean it myself in order for it to work properly. The oven was also very dirty.

Had issues with getting the from a different location.. but overall, all was good.
The apartment location is good, and the home was very clean. They even left goodies on the bed ..

Parking is only available on the street, and it is not always easy to find a close parking spot. when you use the shower in the bathroom, the whole floor will be covered with water. not a deal breaker, but I have seen better solutions.
The central locations was nice. Restaurants and everything else in Rovaniemi is pretty close. The room is comfy and the small kitchen is great to prepare some dishes for yourself. there is great coffe shop/resaturant under the flat.

It was quite difficult to locate at first but when we were given instructions, it was just easy to find.
It is located in the city centre. Very accessible to convenient store. The property is spacious, quiet and has the right temperature to keep you warm inside.

The location is a bit underwhelming but that's because Rovaniemi is industrialised. Other than that the apartment is 30'' walk from the main pedestrian precinct. Noise from the nearby bar-club exists but it's not that terrible, light sleepers will be fine with a pair of earplugs.
Very cosy, clean and spacious apartment! More than enough heat, fully equipped with kitchen appliances, drinkable tap water, large TV, electric beds and many more stuff I didn't expect.

Maybe some flexibility of check in. Most people will be flying to you and just even one hour early would be hugely appreciated (if possible not always I understand)
