Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beware when booking. The listing on booking.com is for multiple rooms within the same area which is not clearly stated. The rooms are at different addresses. So we thought we had booked a room with wasching machine and sauna but ended up with not having either. When asking about it, we were just referred to the hosts comment in the booking confirmation about room selection. However there was no mention about the signifficant differences of the rooms. We were counting on being able to wash our clothes.

The apartment is in an excellent location — very close to the bus and train stations, as well as a supermarket. It is situated in a very quiet part of town, comfortable, and equipped with everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom. It has a very nice sauna. The building is well-maintained, and the surroundings are also tidy. We received excellent instructions from the host. We had no problems at all. We enjoyed our stay.

There is no wishing machine (but I guess there are going to add it because there is an available spot for it). The position is good for the railway station but it's fifteen minute walking from the city centre, not a big issue.
The apartment is new and all the services you need. It is just in front of the railway station.

5 minute walk from the train station. Excellent instructions to pick up the key. The apartment is beautiful. The sauna in the bathroom is amazing. The entire apartment is cosy and well kept. Everything was very clean, but the oven racks could do with a good clean. Would also be good to have a pizza or cookie tray for guest use. Loved having a washing machine. There is also a lift so no need to carry luggage up stairs. Very peaceful and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Great to have tv.

Check-in took place without the host's participation. We could not meet him personally. Very good contact with him - via email. All instructions needed for check-in were very well provided. The apartment was very well prepared, clean, equipped with everything as described. Very convenient and comfortable. Thank you for a good stay

Without minuses.
Comfortable apartment, nice and tidy. There is everything for long term staying. Not far from the city centre. Special thanks for laundry machine. The owner was kind and always in connect.

The shower recess was a little small but understandable given the sauna was in the bathroom.

The location - opposite railway station, short walk to bus station, supermarket and city centre Host - so easy to deal with! Facilities - it’s your home away from home , with sauna! Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

Like almost everything. Location is great from the station, but need to walk 14mins to reach to the shopping mall or other facilities.
The property is close to the station, clean, great sauna facility, comes with lot of instructions.

The only thing was how confusing it was to lock the door! We faffed with it so much not really understanding how it worked. Would be great to tell future guests how to use the keys!
The sauna was excellent! It was a bit of a walk from the town centre but we loved the fact we could pass the local art museum on the way. The kitchen was well stocked, bedroom and bathroom very clean. We even spotted the Northern lights just outside!

The only thing I have to criticize is the automatic function of the air conditioning/heating, it was often a bit too cold for us
Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable (hard mattresses), check-in was very easy via the key box, the city center was about a 20 minute walk and the nearest supermarket was less than a 10 minute walk away
