A pity there's only one sauna for hotel clients, women 17-19, men 19-21, so can't have sauna at the same time.

Fantastic views from the room & restaurant. Everything thought for outdoors: warming closet to dry your gear, easy-to-use ski storage, hot water to fill your thermos, free sauna in the evening. We even got a bit lighter blankets as we are used to 😊 Very nice breakfast and tasty dinners

The cost of the spa was a bit expensive, as it was paid additionally to our stay.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay! The staff was friendly, helpful and we also got treats for our dog from staff. <3 The spa was great with nice views and hiking in Koli was accessible and pleasant. The spa was expensive and not that special. All the seats in the sauna were freezing stone, the jacuzzis were not so warm, it felt silly that we were ”forced” to buy the drink or products ”included” in the spa price. The free sauna was much nicer.

Great view and location, good breakfast and restaurant, terrace with a view, nice staff, the FREE sauna in 3rd floor was a hidden gem. A lot better than the spa.

There was a towel that was stained in our room. The stains were big and brown and it had clearly been washed before but I feel like you don't reuse a towel that's so stained.

The staff was very kind and welcoming! The breakfast was absolutely amazing. So many varieties and all of it was really delicious. The view from our room and hotel surroundings were really gorgeous.

Not a kind of dislike, just take into account that the parking is down the hotel and you will need to carry your luggage by the cable car.

This hotel was our must visit place since trip to Finland in June 2022, so we booked it very much in advance. The location is just amazing and I suppose it is difficult to find another hotel with such picturesque location and access to Koli hiking tracks. In May 2023 there was extreme weather with heavy snow and we managed to enjoy the view. The rooms have potable water stations and the bottle to use for enjoying the tasty sparkling water every day. We really enjoyed the stay and the unique beauty of Koli National Park.

We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and well equipped. Staff was professional, kind, helpful. Everything we ate for breakfast was very tasty. For lunch we had pizzas which we would recommend to everyone. The spa was relaxing.

The rooms didn’t have blackout curtains. which really interfered with my quality of sleep. This was especially a problem since it was summer and the time of darkness outside is just a couple of hours. I was woken up by the bright sunrise at 4 am.

The bathrooms are very small, but who cares? They couldn't be bigger, as it would mean less rooms can be accommodated. It could be a bit cheaper though. It's quite expensive

The hotel was clearly understaffed (maybe due to pandemic/absences?) and waiting times could be crazy. Waited for check-in nearly 30min as there was only one person handling all customers for hotel/spa/bar. After arriving late and the long check-in we were super hungry, and waited at the restaurant to be seated another 15min without even being greeted - (new, inexperienced) co-workers running around managing all tables with only 3 persons, and nobody even said hi or "please wait a moment" which would have been totally fine. The service and food then was good, and much better the second day. However, as the hotel is rather pricy, we would have expected something else. Learning about the waiting times we tried to pre-book the spa for the second evening, which wasn't possible...so we came back to wait, ready in robes and slippers, and then were told we had to wait some more as the spa was full - and again couldn't pay yet, so more waiting. Eventually we got there shortly after, and the staff was very friendly. The parking is far away from the hotel (lift, or stairs in summer, unloading closer by is of course possible) and not covered, which we knew as we have been camping in Koli previously, but it's good to know if you are sensitive to weather or not good on foot.

The location is absolutely perfect, and the view from the room would have been perfect in better weather conditions. The spa has a lot of different options (pools/saunas etc). Nice breakfast and decent food options within the hotel. Rooms are big with good options to dry outdoor gear, and surprisingly quiet. The staff was very friendly even though they were clearly overworked.

Everything else was perfect, but they should think the reservation system of restaurant tables again. We asked for table with a wiew, didn' t get. We had a 3 course meal, and during that time all tables by the windows, except one, were empty. Also was odd, that we were served by 5 different waitresses during the meal. It also took 5 minutes, before we were taken to our table. Many waitresses were around during that time. But food was very nice, and so were the waitresses, but organizing was not the best, I have seen.

Location is magnificient. The top of Koli is 100m away from Hotel front door, and so is downhillskiing. Spa is perfect, specially after 20.00 for couples (no children then).
