Reviews of Villa Mommo II

Location is superb. Mainly if you don't want to follow mass tourism and stay in a hotel. This "tiny house" makes you think that you really don't need a big house if you have a nice view. It was peaceful there with all the comfort that you need. (Love, love, love the floor heating in the bathroom.) To reach the bedroom loft is a bit tricky, but you only sleep there, so not a problem. Hosts are really friendly and helpful. The weather was not on our side, but we still loved every day there. I would rather give 9.5 points but it is not possible.

The location and the facilities.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and were absolutely blown away. It was breathtaking! The jacuzzi and sauna topped it all. The view from the jacuzzi looking over the snowy lake and trees was stunning. It was only a 5 minute drive away from Santa Claus Village and 10 minutes from the airport. Very convenient and good value for money. Both hosts were lovely and gave us lots of recommendations. We would highly recommend this!

We didn't stay for long enough! We will be back.

The lodge was really smart and clean, great facilities and a great location away from the town to enjoy the tranquility of nature. Andy was a super helpful and relaxed host, told us Aurora was visible through the year from the back window and he was right, it was there in the morning too!

The outdoor hot-tub was fabulous along with the generous sauna and shower room made for a very relaxing stay. It’s very tastefully decorated and cosy. Hosts friendly and welcoming.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The facilities were fabulous! The host was very welcoming, kind and friendly. We felt very at home. Everything was clean modern. I would say this property was equally as nice and special as some of the expensive lodges at Santa’s village etc! We had the most special/ memorable holiday we’ve ever had. I can’t wait to visit Finland again 🇫🇮❤️🎅🏻

Nothing everything was fabulous!

The property was so gorgeous and the perfect size for two. The decor is stunning, the place was new, and we had everything we needed. Our hosts were so incredibly kind and went above and beyond for us during our stay! We’d recommend this property to anyone, and hope to come back in the future!

The property is really cozy and really adds to the feeling of being in a Winter wonderland. All three of us were quite sad that we didn’t book it for a longer time and should we ever go back to Rovaniemi, we are definitely booking again.

The only thing were the bus connections that weren’t that great but obviously that has nothing to do with the property itself and a Taxi was always very easy to find.

Excellent accommodation for our stay in Lapland. Perfect for family. Hot tub was great! Hosts showed us around upon arrival and were super helpful
