Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

IndiaThe rooms could do with a bit of revamping, some parts, especially the bathrooms are old and it is evident. The bathtub isn't too appealing either, they need to live up to the brand name. The chairs need replacing.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the restaurant and housekeeping staff. A pretty good breakfast spread. The privacy of the rooms. The location is excellent and overall the vibe of the place is great. Lovely views of the golf course and the mountains.

The Novotel, formerly 'The Mocombo' is a 40+ year grand Fijian Hotel. Originally, a high 4 star hotel in it's day, this establishment still looks grand on the hill from the road. Great established gardens, large rooms with fabulous views and high ceilings characterise this establishment. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The bed was excellent and the air-conditioning effective and quiet. Our evening meal, a Mongolian Barbeque was tasty and good value.
