“The location was fabulous, not too far from the motorway for my onward journey. The house itself has stunning views over the Loir river and overlooking the weir. I had a lovely corner bedroom which benefited from those views and was very quiet despite one window facing the road which is actually quiet at night.
My hosts made me very welcome and they clearly have a good choice of languages between to welcome anyone staying with them.
La Flèche is a good midpoint for anyone travelling to and from Calais to SW France. It’s also a good western ‘entry point’ for a visit to the Loire Valley.
The breakfast was also very good and served in a lovely dining room with stylish and simple French furnishings.”

“La Templerie is absolutely exceptional, the grounds are stunning, the family suite was just WOW! The breakfast was all organic and had a lovely selection. The pool facilities are better than the photo’s. It was relaxing, luxurious and the photo’s just don’t do it justice! The bed was the comfiest bed I’ve slept in for a very long time. We were two families of 4 and our children, 4,4,5 & 6 had the most amazing time and were so welcomed.”
