“The apartment was new (or, more likely, newly refurbished), and it was clear that the owners took some care in furnishing it: the furniture was in pristine shape and made best use of the small space available. Same for the kitchen equipment and the bathroom. The kitchen was wery functional, we always cooked our evening meals there with no issues. The apartment had a washing mashine with drier, which was a boon since one evening we arrived soaked after heavy rains. Thanks to it we were able to leave the apartment with all clothing clean and dry. Pity that the bedding was not comfortable at all.”
