We already stayed 2 nights in 2017 in this hotel so we came back. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is clean, the breakfast is nice and quiet. The hotel is very well located.

Showers weren’t great - poor pressure and leaked.

Small room with tiny bathroom.

Corner room facing the market area was really nice. They allowed us to have a small bed in the room for our young son.

There was really very little to not like. If I was going to be fussy the breakfast is variable - it was excellent the first morning, but on the second morning there was 1 croissant, 1 pain au chocolat, a few bits of bread and some cold crepes. None of the fruit juice, fruit, cheese, cold meats, eggs etc from the previous day but I suspect the hotel was quiet and the night staff felt it wasn’t worth putting out. Either way it wasn’t worth €14 a head! As soon as there was a change of shift I have to say the lovely lady in reception noticed and quickly found us juice, ham and cheese which was kind and rectified the situation.

Excellent location. Very central in the old town. The 2 ladies in reception were exceptional- very friendly and helpful. We prebooked parking - that was so worth doing. We were given a lockable garage just up from the hotel which was extremely handy. The bedroom and bathroom were good sizes and clean. Our bedroom was on the third floor (there is a lift) and a little cool but there were extra blankets in the wardrobe. There was a hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge in the room. We would absolutely stay here again.

Nothing to dislike

Facilities were average for a three star hotel. Breakfast was very good. The location was the best we could find as we were not visiting St. Malo but staying overnight while waiting for a ferry.

We got an upgrade for another 10 euro for a larger room , however the bathroom was not very clean.

we only stayed for one night and we chose the hotel because it was closed to the ferry terminal but we liked it. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to complain about. Exactly met our expectations based on what we spent.

Reception staff member was amazing, helpful, courteous, welcoming and kind. This set the tone for the stay. We were able to safely keep our baggage on site before check-in time as we were early. All in all a great stay.

The room, the bed and the bathroom, including a very comfortable bathtub, are very spacious. The location is perfect, which is of course also due to the fact that the old town is rather small within the city walls. It is easy to get to the beach from anywhere or to the centre of Saint-Malo. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The hotel and the surrounding area are relatively quiet (which unfortunately cannot be said for the seagulls that make a fuss day and night :D).

The shower is very weak and should be upgraded. Second there is no coffre fort to protect valuables although reception agreed to store items. Very few placards to store vêtements but super desk and chair

Location is good, on a quiet end the inner walls. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Wonderful réceptionists throughout the day.
