Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceI wish there had been a safe in the room. There was some work being done in the stairwells/ground floor entry way - nothing negative, just something for guests to be aware of.
Friendly front desk. I was happy with the kitchen and cooking equipment/tools in the room. Since the hotel is located on a pretty busy pedestrian street, I was glad that there is a code required to enter the building. I was traveling solo and I felt comfortable during my stay.

BelgiumMy room was right next to the reception so you could hear people's noises, but only until 8 PM.
The room comes with a kitchenette (microwave, sink, little stove top, kettle, utensils, etc...), and a private bathroom. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My stay was restful and comfortable. The accommodation is located right near Nice's centre and on a dining street, so you will be spoilt for food options.

United KingdomI would suggest putting a safe in each room.
The location was fantastic. In the middle of town yet only one block away from the beach. Lots of great bars and restaurants to choose from. The staff were brilliant and helped when ever we had a question.

United States of AmericaThe bathroom is hilariously small, like in all old European buildings. When sitting on the toilet, the door to the bathroom could not be fully closed because my legs were in the way. Washing my face in the little half sink doused the floor. But, I mean, it is a single room, so why do I even care? The water temp and pressure were amazing, so it suited me perfectly. I’m 5’6”, but I felt like a giant. Large-bodied or tall-bodied humans, beware.
The hotel is just steps from every imaginable tourist activity. The tram stop for every part of town is just around the corner, and the tram stop to get to and from the airport is just a 3 minute walk away. The room had everything that was promised - kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They even offered to set me up with breakfast the night before for a 4am leave time to the airport. Nothing fancy, so if you want fancy, go somewhere else and pay a load more.

United KingdomI would recommend the hotel to add a blind or curtain on the kitchen window.
Excellent place to stay on a pedestrian street in the centre of Nice. Huge bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a small but well equipped kitchen, with coffee machine and coffee pods supplied.

JapanNothing. If I say one thing, it might be difficult to find the hotel place without a help of Google map. But for me, it was no problem at all.
Building seems to be a bit old. But all equipment is renovated and clean. I did not used, but the room is equipped with a small kitchen and refrigerator. At my check-in, I was told that my room was small. Although my room is the smallest one on the floor where I stayed, it is surprisingly large enough for me. Beach, restaurants, supermarket "Monop" open until mid-night, tram Line 2 station "Jean Medecin", all are within a 15-minute walk. Breakfast is excellent, but the room for breakfast is a bit small so that I was checked the time when I would go to have my breakfast.

United States of AmericaIt was a mixture of new updated things and older things, so the kitchen counters were warped butcher block and tiles were missing from the ceramics in the bathroom. The elevator is located between floors so you always have to go up or down about 5-6 steps. The stairs were under renovation so while it will be nice when finished, it was a pain climbing over cords and avoiding the work areas.
The bed was comfortable. The location very good near the park, 5 minutes to the beach and 8 minutes to the old town. The room was very large with a kitchen and separate bathroom - almost like a studio apartment. The place had a wardrobe and two small couches. The bathroom had been updated with modern fixtures. And it was pretty quiet (other than the early morning garbage pickup) despite being right on the main pedestrian thoroughfare.
