The hotel could do with a bit of an update in places to make it look more modern, although you can see what to expect in the photos on Booking.com. In particular, the carpet in the room could do with being replaced, it is a bit worn. Some larger, fluffy towels in the bathroom would be a nice touch too.

The staff on reception were really helpful every time I spoke to them and had good English. The room was clean and functional. I quite liked the double doors into the room because it made the room very quiet. The breakfast was very good, a lovely quiet room with a nice selection of French breakfast options such as crepes, brioche, yoghurts bread, jams and fruit as well as cereal and American pancakes. The location was really nice and central, with some good restaurants with reasonable prices nearby such as L’Entrecote and La Taverne Royale. The reception area also had plug sockets and water which meant before I caught my flight back, I could recharge my phone and fill up my water bottle even though I had already checked out of my room.

The hotel and rooms themselves are a bit outdated and We had a feeling it's not the cleanest room and bathroom we stayed at. It desreves a bit of renovation.

The location is perfect. In the very centre of Nantes, everything you want to experience in the city is close. The breakfast was quite good and typical French, but not exceptional.

The breakfast was not good with very little options and not the best quality of food, unfortunately. Our room had a constant smell of swage in the small "hallway" and the Wi-Fi doesn't work at all...

The location and the staff were amazing! The hotel was centered and right next to the XMAS markets, which was a great positive. The staff was always supportive and with a smile.

Room doors too close to each other and not internal lock - makes you worry about someone potentially breaking in while sleeping - noises of key locks might wake you up too, hopefully they'll change to fobs soon!

Door locks on top floor are old style and one must remember to lock with the key when leaving. Otherwise nothing to dislike.

Hotel is stlightly dated and would benefit from refurbishment. But it's still a decent place to stay!

Loaction is amazing, just right in the centre and close to tram lines. Staff is super helpful and nice. I cannot fault the stay at all. Breakfast was nice too.
