How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The area around the hotel is industrial. You’re not far out but this is not an ideal place to be in the evenings.
Friendly staff, clean and convenient for the airport and the train station. They held onto our bags until we left and the breakfast provided was good. A great budget option.

Not many bars or restaurants in the area
Clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. All day tea and coffee in reception . Very close to the airport so can walk. Close to the mainline train so only one stop from centre of Nice.

Doesn’t appear to be a nice area although easy to get around on public transport and our room lacked windows so not much of a view.
Nice hotel close to airport. Area not very nice but easy to get tram into town and local hotspots.

Nothing to do with the hotel as everything was comfortable, safe, clean and quiet just like we wanted. Unfortunately, we had issues with the train/tram service and a very unfriendly encounter with the not-so-nice Nice train police.
The location is very convenient as we were there just to catch an early flight out of the Nice airport. We were able to use the train/tram service to the airport. Breakfast was good and available very early for us. The free water service and bottles was a nice touch for us so we could have water to drink in our room during our stay.

Wasn't really anything I did not like (just maybe a bit too little variety at breakfast table). It was really a pleasant stay, thank you!
Liked everything, but breakfast could be bigger a bit. But maybe it was French style:) Loved the room, it was clean and nice, personal was polite and super helpful, it was modest stylish and beautiful stay.

Difficult to find. Unclear entrance. Hairdryer not working, basin and shower drain not working properly. Room had no chair.
Comfortable beds, soft pillows lovely big towels Sound proof, blackout curtains. A good place to sleep. Great breakfast. Very close to airport.

No wifi?? Or was I suppose to ask and pay for it? Ridiculous if not provided, price was high wifi should be included hate to be nickle and dimed.

As the sea is so close, the easily busy pool is not worth it to choose this hotel over other options.
I went to Nice for the Ironman and took a flight the next day. For both it’s been a great location. The tram stop and bike sharing station in front of the hotel are great assets.

Excellent location for airport and city tram system, 100m from each. Access to Nice centre very easy. Decent breakfast, helpful staff. Good bed/shower.

Would love if there was a fitness room
Perfectly located near the airport and Nice St. Augustin train station for travel to Cannes or Monte Carlo without having to leave from Nice ville. Refreshing pool and substantial breakfast. Very friendly staff

Furniture in the room was a bit worn but all together was OK, specially the bathroom. Az extra chair would be useful.
I think the location is great even if is far from the center (but straight tram line). Easily accessible from the airport and a perfect starting point for buses and trains to see the coastal settlements. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, people hang out in the lobby and the terrace areas in the evenings in a relaxed way. Breakfast is also great with the fresh orange juice and good coffee.
