Dinard is expensive for food generally. 8e for breakfast I found expensive but compares with food prices in the area.Perhaps some cold meats could be added at breakfast and coffee/tea facilities in the room

The proprietor was very friendly, funny and attentive. The hotel dates from the 1890s and I enjoyed staying in such an old building.

It was sort of an old house, but it had character, and everything was nice and clean so we really liked the ambiance. A little bit difficult to park

The mattress was rather hard and uncomfortable. There isn't a lift, but staff are happy to help with bags.

The patron was super-friendly and helpful. Good location, very close to the beaches, the cliff walks and the town, but also quiet. There's a sizeable Intermarché supermarket just a few yards down the road for odds and ends. Nice continental breakfast (yoghurts, fruit, croissants, good bread) served in a spacious dining room with impressive woodwork. Wifi was reliable. The room was a good size and the bathroom reasonable.

The afrench Government need to let people grow their businesses rather than stranglehold them to taxes. The Host knows how to run a hotel and given the chance I think he could make this old property extra special. What a lovely building though.

The beds are sooooo comfy but more pillows please. The location is brill a short walk to the beach and town. Dinard has a fab beach.

The road was noisy at times.

What a wonderful host - he welcomed us outside the hotel and rearranged his patio furniture in order for us to park our motorcycle. He arranged a couple of taxis for us and also recommended a local restaurant. The hotel is a beautiful old building which is a little tired, but we had a comfortable large room with great light from the large window. The breakfast was a good continental breakfast with the usual croissant, bread, yoghurt, cereal, juice, teas and coffee. I would definitely stay here again when in the area. Walk to the beach in a matter of minutes.

    Nothing. Our stay was perfect.

We were made most welcome on arrival to this quintessential French style hotel. Our room was clean, fresh, comfortable and quiet with modern facilities. A very easy walk to the facilities that Dinard offers and to the ferry to St Malo if you have time. French style breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We would definitely stay here again and we would recommend it to family and friends.

Fascinating hotel in fin de siecle style, with wood panelling and comfortable generous sized rooms. Very welcoming owner who was extremely helpful with local advice, and very obliging. Location was perfect, being in the centre of the town and minutes' walk from restaurants and the beach - and still it managed to keep a quiet calm atmosphere and allowed a good night's sleep.

Fairly basic but perfectly adequate traditional style hotel. Owner is very welcoming (gave us a complimentary drink on arrival). Although there is no on site parking there is plenty of on street (no charge) parking in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast not exciting, but enough variety for most people.

Building was older, so if you are unlucky enough to have a noisy neighbour, or say a slightly talkative elderly couple that get up very early, next door, then you'll hear it word for word. Thin walls also means next-door TVs may come across as loud. Only bothersome at night.

Bed was super nice, place was clean, towels were clean, location was amazing. Few steps away from beach + restaurants. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful in every way, gave plenty of guidance, and even helped call a taxi for the sad journey home.

So hard to think of something we didn't like but perhaps there could have been a better pillow selection for people who like a firmer type of pillow.

The only downside of this hotel is that there is no lift so we had to carry out luggages to the second floor, but the manager kindly lifted one for us.

Super friendly and helpful manager. The hotel has kept itself in a good condition of vintage style and each room has its own character. Loving the massive window and modern shower facilities. The checkout time is 11.30 but we needed the room to prepare for our friend's wedding until 1pm, so the manager kindly emptied another room for our usage with no extra charge. I cannot ask for a better experience and will definitely return again as a happy customer.
