Brides les Bains is very quiet. There are no tea or coffee making making facilities in your room nor a fridge.

The position of the hotel was great! Only a 150 meter walk up a small hill to the gondala. The hotel is next to a river the apres bar where the boot room is is nice and has a fire pit and outside heaters which is just what you need after a day on the slopes. The room is spacious and comfortable. It has a lift. Staff are really friendly.

Bar never attended over new years eve and lacking in atmosphere Breakfast Only accommodates diary and non vegatarians and not alternative for those with milk allergies. In fact apart from fruit every product included diary. Also two people occupied the room and only one complimentary 500ml water bottle provided.

Staff very friendly and accommodating after I raised concerns having no inside bedroom lock

One really small point.......dinner was a little "rushed" between courses.

Very helpful staff. Superb location... 150 metres from ski lift. Rooms...above average for 3 star. Restaurant.. good food at reasonable prices. Will return.

Very friendly staff throughout, including the hotel Director and his wife, both of whom made for lovely hosts! Nice room with balcony; garage parking for the car and our half board package provided quality meals. The Casino opposite the hotel was an added bonus as was the close proximity to the resorts of Meribel and Courchevel. The hotel also has a lively bar with a good atmosphere!

The room could be bigger but its enough. There are not mant dinning options in the town. There is no shuttle or public transport to meribel center besides the gondola. After it closes at 5pm, only option left is taxi and it costs about 50€.

Location is amazingly convenient. 5 mins from moutier station and taxi costs about 20€. Olympei gondola is 2-3 mins walking diatance from the hotel and takes about half an hour to Meribel center. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

The only downside is that it's smack next to the river which is always loud and gushing, so if you're a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.

we have used this hotel before and it works really well for ski ing in Meribel and 3 Vallees without being right in the most expensive parts.

Very nice, clean and guests friendly hotel with lovely food, nice bar area, convenient location (as it is very close to the gondola) and comfortable and clean rooms. One needs to be aware though, that gondola ride takes approx. 25 minutes to Meribel Centre, so obviously staying in Meribel is more convenient when it comes to the access to all ski lifts, but Hotel Amelie is a perfect choice for people who cares about quality of the hotel and who like comfort, but at the same time care about the budget, as it is definitely a good value for money. Very good WiFi (free) and convenient parking (also free).

Daily commute to ski pists comes a bit too much after 2 - 3 days staying. We were first time skiing in France and next time will try something closer to the pists. Accommodation is a bit pricy.

Easy to get to. Covered parking. Nicely located in the centre of Brides Le Bains. Well organised place for storing skis and ski boots. Nice bar with good pancakes for Apres ski relax. Friendly staff. Short walking distance to the gondola.Restaurants with good food around.

Nothing, well wifi is slow but it nearly always is!

This hotel has great location, only a few hundred meters from the bubble lift to Meribel (takes 25 minutes). Much cheeper than in resort accomodation. Very friendly and good food in the evening. I didn't have breakfast as it was 12EUR, and a coffee and croissant from the spa across the road was 5!

The access to the underground parking had a steep driveway. It was snowing and the staff informed us that it would be impossible for us to get back out the next morning (Sunday) due to the snow! They explained that no-one would be available to remove the snow.

    Staff were pleasant.

The balcony door (sliding doors) could not close properly and without double glazing the room was very cold. Breakfast was very rudimentary without much choice. The interior is outdated and unsightly.

Hotel is located bearable (in your ski boots) walking distance from Maribel lifts. If you are planning to use this hotel as a base for going to Maribel and not spend much time in it then chose it otherwise not recommended. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
