The heating was very hot in the top part of the flat, but a bit too cold in the lower, bedroom part. Neither my wife nor I could adjust the temperature

No air conditioning. We were there in the summer but the weather was fairly average. I imagine the apartment would be hot during a hot summer. No other real concerns.

The bathroom needed a really good scrub and total makeover. When the guests upstairs showered, water was dripping into our shower which, I found, pretty unsanitary. There has obviously been ongoing problems as the ceiling above shower was patched up. Notified the owner who contacted plumber, but it should not be occupied in that condition.

The apartment was in a great location.it was behind the main road so handy to all of Bordeaux but still lovely and quiet. Tram just out the front and cafes and shops all around. The windows were large and let in lovely breezes.

I didn't get any information about getting into the property until literally the morning we were going, which I personally found stressful. I actually rang them up to make sure that it was all ok, and they said info would be sent 24 hours before. I would have preferred this info a few days in advance. There was a smell of drains, the owner said it was from outside, so not a lot you could do about it. If you opened the window it did go away quite quickly. The windows were overlooked but others, so you needed to draw the curtains to change etc. - again to be expected in a town centre and worth the hassle to be there.

the location was fabulous, just round the corned from the Place de la Bourse, loads of restaurants and bars within easy reach and only 10 mins to most places you will want to go . Flat had everything you needed for a short stay, it is very small, but had a little hanging space and chest of drawers . All kitchen equipment to make a meal- though why would you. reasonably quiet as well , though some traffic inevitable the owner responded quite quickly to out texts. he also gave us good directions from the airport , via tram to the property, which we already knew , but it was a nice touch.

Not enough toilet paper, we had to buys some rolls ourselves. The building is old so the bathroom had a damp smell.

It’s in a very good location, lots of great places to eat and drink near by, the tram stops are pretty close and the small kitchen is sufficient to cook a meal. The entire apartment was a decent size, lots of space for 2 to spread out.

absolutely nothing to not like!

Very central location close to everything, shops bars, restaurants only a minute away. lovely apartment and very quirky with stone steps leading down to bedroom from living room/kitchen. Everything supplied that you could need and Laurence our host very quick to answer questions or queries. I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this apartment and it I couldn’t have made a better choice for our first time in Bordeaux. Would highly recommend and will stay here again whenever we get to return.

Check-in is quite late at 16:00 and there was no room to leave our luggage while we waited for check-in. The owner recommended Nannybag though and there was a bag storage point very close to the apartment.

We could not have asked for a better location! It is right by the water mirror and plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Our 5 year old loved to sleep on the mezzanine floor in the Gabriel apartment

Location superb. After a little initial difficulty, the friendly host greeted us. We left our bags and returned later after cleaning. Quiet apartment. Basic cooking facilities. Carrefour nearby.
