possibly the most awkward hotel bedroom I have ever stayed in. the ground floor of the room featured a toilet but no hand basin. to go upstairs you had to climb a narrow spiral staircase. upstairs there was no toilet! so you had to go up and down during the night. the bed was circular with restricted headroom due to the room being in the eaves of the roof. the bathroom had a circular bath that you had to climb up into. again very awkward and no handrail. during the night there was a lot of noise from I assume other guests.

very warm welcome from the lady on reception. Car Parking directly outside of the hotel. excellent breakfast that was included in the price

Noisy wedding party disturbed us at 3am on the first night - in the room above us, other than that it was fine. Staff were not easy to find during the day. Coffee, sugar and cups not always replenished when used. Not their fault, but the turn into the property was slightly hazardous as it was on a really sharp bend across the traffic.

Arrived early but they found a room for us ahead of time. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast. Area around the pool was nice to sit out in the sunshine. Restaurant on site, although we did not eat there. Pool was not open until June, but I am sure it will be lovely when it is. Some lovely old villages in the surrounding area

Beds could have been more comfortable and the shower wasn't great - not attached to wall and not much water pressure.

Breakfast was lovely - plenty of choice. Location was convenient for an overnight stay before heading to the Alps. View of the Rhone from the window was great. Staff were very friendly.

I did not have the time for breakfast as I head to leave early to catch a flight, but the breakfast room looked very cosy. The Rooms are nicely decorated and I had a small balcony with a view on the bridge and on the pool from the hotel.

Rooms are very basic. There is no restaurant on site so we had to eat dinner standing up in our room. There is no lift so we had to carry everything up and down a couple of flights of stairs.

It has a pool that our two young kids enjoyed splashing in after a long car journey. The breakfast was quite good and had gluten free options which I really appreciated. The staff were very accommodating and the service was really good.

We stayed for one nigt-on our way to the south - at best western. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is top! Recomending this hotel!

-we were Just passing through and thats why we booked this hotel. We assumed that we could have diner at the restaurant attached but it was fully Booked. In stead we had to drive to another cheerless village to get a meal. Would be much appreciated if the hotel would have informed us up front that you need to make a reservation for the restaurant at the hotel. After a whole Day of driving you really don't feel like driving again to get a meal somewhere (which was also one of the worst i had in my life but that's not to blame the hotel ;) ) - ambiance is different than it looks on the pictures

Very comfortable bed, room, hair dryer to dry clothes after we arrived wet through on our bikes. Delicious breakfast. Great proximity via stairs to cycle path. Brilliant stay & very helpful staff. Many thanks, Bruce & Joy Crabtree.

Breakfast, bread is hard and a very limited choice; salami, ham, and cheese, boiled egg (but then again I'm used to high class breakfasts). They don't have their own restaurant, but next door there's a restaurant, but not worth to mention so seek your taste bud pleasures elsewhere. One more peculiar thing, the phone in the room didn't work, so when I got up in the morning and noticed that the car next to mine had been broken into; it was a hassle to inform the reception. So I guess that during the night, there is no supervision. Park on your own risk.

Not far from my supplier. Clean room, water cooker and tea, good shower. I've seen better Best Westerns. This is one on the low part of the ladder.

An exceptional hotel. The manager was lovely - very welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a fantastic view from the balcony in the bedroom - could see the swimming pool and the river. The decor in the hotel was modern and tasteful. We were served drinks around the swimming pool and this was very welcome after driving from the north of France. Although there isn't a restaurant at the hotel, the manager booked us into the restaurant next to the hotel - this was excellent and highly recommended. I'd love to come back to this hotel and spend a little more time here.

Great location - € 1/one way toll to get to Lyon center by car. Nearby restaurant offers regional dishes. Advised to book beforehand via reception or directly, both lunch and dinner possibilities! Great blackout curtains and very effective air conditioning unit. Wonderful swimming pool! Very friendly, helpful and caring staff. Make sure to ask for suggestions when in doubt. Ideal for a short stay, transit destination or a multi day city trip to Lyon. Wonderful breakfast with lots of fresh and home-made items

We had to book a King Suite as there were 3 of us which has a sofa bed downstairs and a toilet but with no sink??!then double bed and bathroom up a very steep spiral staircase - not a great layout nor practical. Very expensive not worth the price
